Visit Wat Long Or, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province Thailand.

Hello everyone. This post, I changed the location and took everyone to see the temples in Fang District. (The district where I live). After I took everyone to see the temple in Chai Prakan District last time. This temple is called Wat Long Or. I searched for information about Wat Long Or. And I only know that this temple was built in year A.D. 1939 or 84 years ago. But I don't know what year this temple received royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree.

Wat Long Or is a small temple in the district where I live. This temple has an area of ​​approximately 10,073 square meters. The temple is located in Long Or Village, Mae Sun Subdistrict, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province.

Me and my wife traveled to this temple in the morning. The atmosphere of our journey in the morning with fog. This time is the first fog for this year. And on the road there was fog for a long time. Take a look the atmosphere on the road with fog before viewing the atmosphere in Wat Long Or.

When arriving at the temple. Before entering the temple. Area front of the temple there are large and small gold color buddha statues in the attitude of meditation. There is also a statue of a monk and two elephant statues.

Beside these buddha statues and statues there is a name plate of the temple.

This temple does not have an arch. Between the entrances are two large giant statues. And on the pillars of the wall between the entrances are two statues of lions too.

When entering the temple, you will first see a large courtyard with trees. On the right side there is a large pavilion. I don't know what this pavilion is.
In front of this pavilion there is the pillars. And on these pillars there was the bird, which was one of the mythological creatures in Thailand.

On the left side, there is another large pavilion. I don't know what this pavilion is either.

Additionally, there was a small pavilion beside this pavilion. This pavilion is decorated with beautiful stucco patterns. And on the railing of the stairs at the entrance to the pavilion are two serpent statues.
Inside the pavilion there is the main buddha image which is a gold color buddha image and there are 2 statues of monks.

The temple's buddha image hall (viharn) is beautifully built and has a unique Lanna style. This buddha image hall (viharn) is made of bricks plastered with cement and painted brown. The decoration of this buddha image hall (viharn) is decorated with gold color stucco designs. On the railing of the stairs at the entrance to the buddha image hall (viharn) are two serpent statues.

The last thing I want to share about this temple is the bell tower. This bell tower is made from wood in the original Lanna style. The first floor of the bell tower has a drum and the second floor has a bell. And on the railing of the stairs at the entrance to the bell tower were two animals, which were one of the mythological creatures in Thailand.
