Visit a hill tribe village (Palaung people) with my wife and granddaughter, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. I've told everyone that my district has a diverse range of ethnic groups. The ethnic groups in this district include local Thais, Tai Lue, Yunnan Chinese, Tai Yai, Many hill tribes and other. In our free time, my wife and I enjoy driving around to different places and villages in my district. We passed through many villages. Both local Thai villages and others ethnic groups. In late December of last year, We took our granddaughter for a trip to the mountains (Doi Ang Khang). And we passed through a hill tribe villages too. It was a trip three months ago and I almost forgot about it. This morning I was looking at old photos on my smartphone. So I wanted to share the atmosphere of this hill tribe village with everyone. It is a nice and peaceful village. This village is called Ban Nor Lae. Ban Nor Lae is a village on the mountains. They are the Palaung people or Dara-ang. This village is located near the border between Thailand and Myanmar. We passed through some areas of this village. The people in this village are farmers and they also have shops.

Shops in this village, There are small coffee shops, restaurants, food stalls and souvenir shop. We stopped at a small coffee shop and a food stall in the village. We ordered the iced green tea at the coffee shop. And we bought local food and boiled eggs from a food stall near the coffee shop.

We ate food and drank green tea here.

We also bought strawberries from the hill tribes in the village to eat at home. Fresh and inexpensive strawberries.

It was another trip where I had fun and happy myself with my wife and granddaughter. And we plan to visit this village again later this year.
