Hello everyone. Every year in winter we plan a trip to the mountains. This year too, So yesterday me and my wife planned a trip to the mountains. But this time we went later than every year. We intend to travel to the mountains to see the sea of ​​fog and the sunrise. But no one has taken care of our son and granddaughter this year. This year we didn't get to camp on the mountain to see the sea of ​​mist and sunrise. When we have finished sending the kids to school. It's time to enjoy and relax on our trip. This trip, we intend to go to the Mon Sone viewpoint first.

The Mon Sone viewpoint is located in Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park, Mae Sun Subdistrict, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province. This viewpoint is near Doi Ang Khang. And it is a viewpoint on the mountain that is more than 1000 meters above sea level (Height 1787 meters above sea level). The highlight of the Mon Sone viewpoint is that you can see the sea of ​​fog and sunrise views fram a mountain lookout.

Me and my wife traveled to this viewpoint in the morning. We did not travel on the main route in our district. Because the main route is quite steep and winding. So we traveled another route which was further than the main route and was in another district. That is the route in Chai Prakan District.

When we reached Chai Prakan District, we traveled on a rural roads in Chai Prakan District. And this is some of the atmosphere on rural roads.

Then we had to travel another 30 kilometers on mountain roads to reach the Mon Sone viewpoint.

When we reached this Mon Sone viewpoint , there were many facilities. Such as restroom, shops, hilltribe souvenir shop, tourist information point, etc.

At this viewpoint there is a wide area for camping on the mountain. At this viewpoint there is a wide ground for camping on the mountain. The ground for this camp is called Doi Ang Khang Camp Ground. Which is camp near Doi Ang Khang. Famous tourist attractions in my district. Tent rental rates for 3 people are 235 baht or 30 baht for your own tent.

The reason this viewpoint is called Mon Sone is because there are many pines in this area.

When walking through this camp area. When walking through this camp area. We will see the highlights and viewpoints here. You can see the beautiful sea of ​​fog and sunrise from this area. But unfortunately me and my wife didn't have a chance to see it. We have an obligation to take care of our son and granddaughter first. So we got here late and missed the sunrise. But the atmosphere from the viewpoint was beautiful and refreshing. So we don't feel tired from traveling. And we feel happy and relaxed seeing nature.
