Travel to Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province with my wife, granddaughter and wife's mother part 3 : Hill tribe market and temple.

Hello everyone. Today's post is still the story of my and my family's travels in Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. Yesterday's post I take everyone to see the flower garden on the mountain. But today's post, I take everyone to see the hill tribe market and temple in this district. Mae Ai District is another district of Chiang Mai Province that has many ethnic groups, including local Thai people, various hill tribes, Tai Yai people, and Chinese people. Mae Ai District therefore has many hill tribe villages and markets.
After we visited the flower garden on the mountain. So we went to the nearby market. The market we went to was a hilltribe market, which was located in the Royal Project or Roi Jai Rak Project. This market mainly sells vegetables, fruits and hill tribe souvenirs. There is also the mini restaurants within the market.
The hill tribe market in the Roi Jai Rak Project is located along Mae Chan - Fang Road, Tha Ton Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. The market is open every day, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Within the hilltribe market in the Roi Jai Rak project, there is also a flea market, which is open 2 days: Tuesday market and Saturday market too. The flea market in the Roi Jai Rak project sells goods like other flea market.
Me and my wife have been to this hilltribe market. But granddaughter and wife's mother have never been to this hilltribe market. So we wanted to take them to walk around and buy things at this hilltribe market. Take a look at some of the atmosphere in this hill tribe market. Let's go.

Within the hill tribe market there is also the vegetable farm where many types of vegetables are grown on the farm. Tourists can buy fresh vegetables from this farm.

Then me and my wife take granddaughter and wife's mother to the temple. This temple is the last place of our travel to this district. The temple we went to is called the place for practice the dharma Doi Thep Neramit. Which is the place for Vipassana-Kammatthana (the act of meditation or contemplation) of monks and nuns. Granddaughter and wife's mother have never been to this temple.

This temple is located on a mountain in Mae Sao Subdistrict, Mae Ai District. Inside the temple there is a large pagoda as the center point. The foundation of the pagoda is a large circular chamber. Inside this pagoda is a room for Vipassana-Kammatthana (the act of meditation or contemplation). And there is a glass pagoda which contains the buddha's relics and the monk (buddhist saint)s' relics.

Around this pagoda are many white buddha statues.

The overall atmosphere of the temple has many buddha statues and angel statues, of which there are more than 100 buddha statues and angel statues in the temple. And these are some of the Buddha statues and angel statues in the temple.

Inside the temple, there are also mountain viewing points and many views for taking photos. And the overall atmosphere has big trees on the mountain and houses for monks, nuns and people who come to practice dhamma at the temple. This time we had limited time because we had to pick up our son from school. So I took some photos of the atmosphere in the temple. Take a look and enjoy.
