Withering Beauty

I took photos of my garden. I love autumn nature. I feel the beauty through the Wabi Sabi concept that plants, trees, or flowers are withering. I love to see colours and watch them finish their lives little by little. I know it's sad and melancholic to see them, but I want to express my gratitude to these plants. They make me feel happy, calm, relaxed, and refreshed day by day. And then, they are leaving this natural world soon.

However, their existence is necessary for this world. For example, they are always leaving and spreading their seeds. Also, they become animals' food even after rotting and withering. Additionally, they naturally become composted. Nothing goes to waste.

I usually don't cut them. I want to leave them there as much as I can. I need to trim or cut sometimes, but I want them to exist in their natural process.

枯れていく美しさ

私の庭の写真を撮りました。秋の自然は素敵ですね。植物、木々や草花が枯れていく様を、侘び寂びの概念を通じた美しさを感じます。生命が終わる前の色合いはものすごく美しいです。もちろん哀しげで悲観的になるのですが、植物に対する感謝の気持ちも生まれます。日々、楽しい気分にしてくれて、落ち着かせてくれて、リラックスとリフレッシュをさせてくれる存在の植物。そして、この世の中をもうすぐ去っていく。

ところが、その存在は自然界にとって必要不可欠なことです。例えば、常に種をまいてくれますし、植物は腐ったり枯れた後でも動物たちの食物になります。さらに、自然に肥料になります。必要ではない無駄な部分などありません。

私はできるだけ枯れても刈り取ったり片付けたりしないようにしています。ときどき下づける必要はあるのですが、なるべく自然な過程を踏めるようにしたいと思っています。
