Whines, Walks, and Wooden Treasures 🍂

My dog loves to drive with us, but he whines so much in the car. I don’t know why, maybe he just gets too excited. We usually train him not to be rude using a “shush” sound, but we can’t stop him from whining easily in the car. He tries to listen to us, but he can’t hold it in for long. As soon as he notices that we’re arriving at the destination, he almost howls.

He looks so happy to be out in nature, or really, anywhere. He wants to greet almost everybody, including dogs, birds, plants, other animals, and cars. And whenever he finds a cool-looking branch, he loves to carry it around.

This time, he found a long stick that looked like someone else had carried it before him. He hesitated to pick it up because it was so long. However, he couldn’t forget about it. He went back, picked it up from one end, and showed a super satisfied smile when he was able to carry such a challenging stick.

He tried to carry it as long as he could. Even though he grew tired, he still gave it his best effort. It was fun to watch him because he experimented with many different carrying styles. First, he held it sideways, then switched to the top part, then dropped it, but returned to it again. Finally, he decided to leave it behind.

Why do dogs carry sticks? Dogs often carry sticks on walks because it satisfies natural instincts, offers mental stimulation, and provides comfort or play opportunities. That’s exactly what my dog is like. His confidence level shoots up every time he finds and carries a stick, especially out in nature.

I never get tired of watching and observing my dog’s life. He is such a talkative, cheerful, gentle, funny, and calm friend.

IMG_3655.jpeg

IMG_3654.jpeg

IMG_3657.jpeg

IMG_3658.jpeg

Thank you for your comment! Yeah, he’s such a cute boy. I checked your blog and saw the adorable photo of your dog in the basket of your bicycle! Almost all dogs seem to love going places with their owners 🐶

Yes, he cries when I go on an errand and he is left at home. So I bought a basket for the mountain bike, now he feels like he is the king of the road 😎

and we are a girl, but to walk with my kitten in nature, when we go to the forest, I take off his collar and let him run free where he feels happiest. I guess your puppy is always so happy when he is off-leash in nature.
