Photography: Red Lately

The colour red is very vivid, and it pops up in our daily lives. I see red a lot in Asian culture. Red is one of the ancient colours in many cultures. I like noticing red in my daily life. Red catches my eye. When I feel blue, red is sometimes too bright. However, vivid red colours can give us a sense of fortune, passion, and energy, I guess. Sometimes, red is also a symbol of anger. Oh, and the first chakra is also red.

I took some photos of red in my daily life.

This is a beautiful red Chinese lantern hanging in front of a local Chinese restaurant. It symbolizes fortune, wealth, luck, and more, I guess. Chinese people have just finished celebrating their version of the New Year. I love watching this vivid, beautiful red lantern swinging like this.

This red shovel in the red bush was so funny. Who did this? The white ball and the red shovel stand out in nature.

Here is my white dog and a red bench. Another red-and-white contrast. The red bench stands out in the white snow.

This is my dinner, which was prepared and baked by my husband. The red paprika spice became brownish-red after cooking.

This red sky was photographed a few months ago. I often see red skies in my area.

赤はとても鮮やかな色で、日常の中でもひときわ目を惹きつけます。アジアの文化の中では、赤をよく見かけます。赤は文化の中でも古くから使われてきた色のひとつです。私は日常生活の中で赤を見つけるのが好きで、自然と目がいきます。気分が落ち込んでいるときには、赤は少し鮮やかすぎると感じることもありますが、鮮やかな赤は、幸運や情熱、エネルギーを与えてくれるようにも思います。時には、赤は怒りの象徴でもあります。そういえば、第一チャクラも赤ですね。

日常の中で見つけた赤をいくつか写真に撮りました。

これは、近所の中華料理店の前に飾られている美しい中国の赤い提灯です。幸運や富、福などを願う意味があるのだと思います。中国の人々はちょうど旧正月のお祝いを終えたところですね。私は、この鮮やかで美しい赤い提灯がゆらゆら揺れているのを見るのが好きです。

この赤いスコップが赤い茂みの中にあるのは、とてもおもしろかったです。いったい誰がここに置いたのでしょう。白いボールと赤いスコップが、自然の中でとても目立っています。

これは、私の白い犬と赤いベンチです。また、赤と白の組み合わせですね。赤いベンチが白い雪の中でとてもよく映えています。

これは夫が準備して焼いてくれた夕食です。赤いパプリカスパイスは、調理したあと茶色がかった赤になりました。

この赤い空の写真は、数か月前に撮ったものです。私の住んでいる地域では、赤い空をよく見かけます。
