“Japanese Temples Photography Part 2”

I posted “Japanese Temples Photography Part 1” the other day. Today, I will share part 2. This is again, north Kamarura area called Kita Kamakura.

Time goes very slowly there. I spent a few hours but I could stay longer if I could. Every time I visit temples or shrines, I lose my sense of time. I just feel appreciation. I have more photos of Japanese temples. I will share them little by little.

I love these stone steps in green nature. It's a pleasure to peek at the gate at the top of the long stone steps.

A monk in his summer Kesa 袈裟 (Buddhist monk’s robe) walked up the long stone road in the middle of hot summer.

A thankful message to us.

Fukasa:

Umino fukasawa hakarukotoga dekiruga,
Aino fukasawa hakarukotoga dekinai.

Deepness:

We are able to measure the depth of the ocean yet
We aren’t able to measure the depth of our love.
(Translated by @koto-art)

Hmm… Surely.

This section was very peaceful. I like to notice that people kept a tree like this instead of cutting it to build something like this.

There were headless statues everywhere. They look like they have a long history by their looks.

I love this tatami Japanese room. The windows are everywhere so, they get cool refreshing wind from many different angles. I heard beautiful cicada voices everywhere.

There was a lot of cool nature Buddhist artwork like this.
