Connect with Him

I created this artwork titled “Connect with Him.” It is a combination of digital drawing and photography. This sunset was almost over, and dusk was quietly surrounding my view. This scene is from around my place, captured without any filters. It was a very peaceful moment, silent and calm. Now, we have snow in this view, but at that time, there was none. I especially love the orange glow above the dark silhouettes of the mountains and trees.

I added my half-drawn digital image onto the sunset photo. The pink heart in the middle is connected to this dimension. The right side of the heart represents my side, while the left side connects to the other dimension, where the important person is. The layers of these hearts overlap and interconnect. This moment felt precious, just like a beautiful sunset. Moments are always fleeting. They never stay as long as we wish. That’s why they are so precious. When we feel connected to the ones we love, our hearts become filled with love.

Yesterday was my special Memorial Day. I tried to spend the day as quietly as I could. I kept myself busy, but not too busy. After work, I took time to feel the presence of this important person in my mind. Later, I had a good conversation with my mother, and together we remembered my important person, my sibling.

I think I created this piece with a very calm energy. It is simple, but it is filled with my empathy and compassion. I hope that when you see my artwork, you can also feel the presence of the ones you love.

あの子とつながる

この作品のタイトルは 「あの子とつながる」 です。デジタルと写真を半分ずつ組み合わせて制作しました。これは黄昏時の夕日で、静けさがそっと景色を包み込んでいました。この景色は、フィルターを使わずに自宅の周りで撮影したものです。とても静かで穏やかな時間でした。今は雪が積もっていますが、このときはまだ雪がありませんでした。山や木々の黒い影の上に広がるオレンジ色が特に好きです。

その夕日の写真に、私が描いた絵とデジタル画像を重ねました。中央のピンクのハートは、この次元とつながっています。ハートの右側は私側、左側は別の次元につながっていて、大切な人とつながる部分です。ハートの層が重なり合い、互いに結びついています。この瞬間は、美しい夕日と同じように、とても貴重な時間でした。瞬間はいつも一瞬で、望んでも長くは留まってくれません。だからこそ、瞬間は尊いのだと思います。大切な人とつながったと感じるとき、心は愛で満たされる感覚がします。

昨日は私にとって特別な日でした。できるだけ静かに過ごそうと思い、忙しすぎない程度にスケジュールを入れて一日を過ごしました。仕事のあと、大切な人の存在を心の中で感じる時間をとり、その後は母と電話で会話する時間をとり、きょうだいのことを思い出しました。

この作品は、そんな穏やかなエネルギーの中で生まれたのだと思います。シンプルですが、私の共感と優しさが込められています。この作品を見たとき、あなたも大切な人の存在を感じていただけたら嬉しいです。
