Early August dark pinup à la carte!

What’s happening, Hive? It’s 1:30a.m. I’m trying to wind down but I want to get a post on the blockchain before calling it a night. @vermillionfox has an early flight to Chicago in the morning so I can’t afford to be up too late since I’ll be driving her. I had a full day including projects I believe in like the EOS zine that I’ve been working on with talented folks like @mada, @lovejoy and @swarddraws. Later this week, I’ll be doing an interview on NFT’s, AI and the future of art with @gric. I got in some kickboxing and managed to edit a few photos during a late night session at @caffetto.

That’s what I’m looking to share here tonight. New dark pinup photography. I call this the à la carte! Just a single photo with three different models, the first of which is a lovely pinup from California named Ashley. She and I booked this shoot in January of 2020. Our timing couldn’t have been worse because just a few short weeks later, the entire world began shutting down. We’d talked about making this up when things got, “…back to normal.”, but they never did. Finally, she was out here in the Twin Cities for a convention and we made it happen at my favorite hotel.

Secondly, this photo is of a up and coming model that I met in Vegas during the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend. She was part of a dark pinup modeling event I held with Cervena Fox and our creative chemistry together real strong. She booked a second shoot with me almost immediately after and was willing to fly to Minneapolis to make it happen. She booked hair and make-up with my friend Farah and we shot the entire afternoon in my house. Her wardrobe was outstanding and these are some of the strongest dark pinup shots of my 2022 thus far.

Lastly, also another model visiting Minneapolis from out town and also someone I was able to host and shoot in my home, Angela Ryan. Angela is a well established model in the fetish scene and we’ve been Instagram friends for almost 10 years. We always said we were going to make this shoot happen and finally, while she was in town for Rubberball, we carved out a Sunday evening. I started the shoot at @caffetto, in the basement next to the pinball machines but we made our way back to my house for this candlelit capture.

Hi! Just wanted to share my experience with removing object from photo using https://imageupscaler.com/inpaint/. I had a stunning beach photo ruined by a random person walking by in the background. But thanks to this tool, I was able to easily remove them and restore the beauty of the scene. The inlay algorithm is amazing!
