Hablar de la cardenalera es hablar de la mejor agrupación de gaita que existió en Venezuela, CARDENALES DEL EXITO.

Este tema interpretado por Carlos González nos relata la historia de los temas y grupo que lleno de amor, felicidad, gratas experiencia, a muchos Venezolanos.

Ensayos, Grabaciones, viajes, conciertos, veladas, amaneceres, algo que con rigurosa disciplina lo llegaron a concretar; los cardenales dejaron el ejemplo de que nosotros los gaiteros somos "Parrandero Mujeriego y Bebedor" pero a pesar de este mal ejemplo cosecharon exitos desde los 60 hasta los 2000 siendo para nada como esos adjetivos .

Por esta agrupación pasaron los mejores gaiteros de la historia, para mi cardenales fue la grandes ligas de la gaita, Ricardo portillo, cepeda, Ricardo Aguirre, Renato Aguirre, Manuel Luzardo, Humberto Sánchez, Chichilo Urribarri, Nelson Romero, Carlos González, Astolfo Romero, Daniel Méndez, Papalbillo, Carlos Ruiz, Simón García, Douglas soto, Ramon Romero, Miguel Parra, Humberto Bracho, Quintiliano Sánchez, Danello Badell, Chuchito Ibarra, Pelón Aguirre entre tantos grandes de la agrupación que marcaron historia y crearon estilos a través del tiempo.

Hoy día la agrupación esta perdida, no existe.

en los años 80s y 90s era un orgullo colocarse la C2-Roja, esta famosa camisa la cual muchos han querido imitar, pero al pasar de los tiempos y con la llegada de la "Revolucion" una serie de frustrados logran adueñarse legalmente de la agrupación y eliminando de la alcaldía de Maracaibo una reforma que consta la legalidad y dueño legitimo el señor chichilo como dueño del grupo.

Me duele ver como hoy día cualquier loco se coloca una camisa roja y se dice cardenal, lo que un día fue, ya no es y todo esto es gracias a un gobierno indolente, vil, macabro, que pone a cuatro personas a darle golpes a un tambor solo porque simpatiza con ellos. LOS CARDENALES NO SON CHAVISTAS

En una tarima compartí evento con unos tales sus cardenales del éxito, unos valencianos estafadores, los cuales no se les niega que tocan bien, pero no tienen el derecho ni son dignos de tan grandioso nombre.

Los Cardenales están volando a otras latitudes y los recordaremos con mucho cariño.

Oye que brutal lo haces, me gusta mucho la gaita también, en mi casa somos amantes de la gaita, espero luego de aprender a tocar la guitarra bien también tocar el cuatro, poco a poco, te felicito lo haces muy bien.
