Cats love cuddling and being spoilt a lot, just like me... hence it's my favorite animal too when it comes to a pet 😝.
Our baby girl is the same.
My late mother in law had a cat, a Persian cat.
But my brother in law let it adopted by others when she passed away.
In Germany we "theoretically" had a space for a cat and a cat is independent, not like a dog that needs to be taken for a stroll for example.
But my husband once said that I need to choose between having a cat or enjoying the birds feeling secured enough to come to our garden 😁.
So apparently having wild birds visiting was more appealing LOL.
Anyway we're just too lazy to raise pets.

I'm sorry about your late mother in law and for her cat as well. You know, Titan's grandmother is a Persian cat, too...
At that time when we met, Titan & De-i were not born yet. Haha! But, I think if you and your little princess meet them, you both would love them, especially Titan, he loves cuddling so much. It's good to know that parts of cats behaviors like you..... 😊
I also love watching birds, too.... You had a wonderful garden for many kinds of animals to visit; i.e. birds, bees, butterflies, etc. That would be enjoyable as well... 😍
Yeah... Cats love to chase birds. That's their nature LOL.
So if we want to birds to visit our garden, we can't keep cats around 😂.

Sometimes I just forgot to notice how fast time flies.
It's indeed atleast 5 years passing by already since our last meeting when you visited us in our hotel during the Steemfest 😍.
By the way, do you still have contact with Mayasiam?
She was also there at our first meeting a year before that.
I lost her contact since she never wrote again, especially since Steemit was left and we all moved to Hive.
Hopefully we would have the opportunity to visit Thailand again in the coming years, by then we might be able to pet your cats 😜.
You are right....It's the nature of cats, they love to chase birds. Although Titan & De-i don't go outside, they love to stare at birds outside the window every day....
With regard to Mayasiam, I haven't seen her or contacted her since our last visit either. I don't know whether she is now staying in Thailand or abroad....
I will be happy to welcome your warm family in Thailand again. In the meantime, I'm afraid that I cannot bring Titan & De-i to meet you all because they are too big to carry on... Haha! ;D
