A Mini Photoshoot with the Classmates during the Wedding

I was one of the bridesmaids at the wedding of my classmates and my thesis adviser in college on July 16, 2022. The wedding was held in Iligan City, so we needed to fly from Manila to attend the wedding.

Mik and I have the same frequency and wavelength. We both have the same birthday, and my name is the English version of her name. Sir Kit and Antoni share the same wavelength - they love electronics and programming. The couple is very close to our hearts. So when they invited us to their wedding, we immediately said yes.

The wedding felt like a college reunion. We met our batchmates, classmates, and professors. It has been years already, but they were able to remember our names. There was this one professor, a former Department Chairwoman, who said these to us: "Gwapa naka dai. Sus sauna, bati man ug nawong. Alimoot lantawon. Mga sanina dagko pajud." She just said we were now beautiful and before, we were ugly with our loose shirts! She is still the Queen of Trash Talk in the College of Engineering. She has been a savage but no longer terror in our eyes.

Whenever we took selfies, the professors would join and even call the others. I also met the previous supervisors of my first and second job. And they still remember how big my appetite is. Ma'am B teased me when I went to the food section thrice.

My two models here are Doti and Manuel. Doti was one of the bridesmaids and my classmate in college, as well. We met in Cebu a month before the wedding, but prior to that, we haven't met for six years. As for Manuel, we haven't seen each other for three years, and I have missed Manuel so much, who always tells me that he's prettier than me. He will only say I'm beautiful when it's my birthday. Too bad I only captured a few decent photos only during the reception. I didn't know there were many things the entourage would do - from photoshoots to videos (before and after the wedding) and the impromptu dance number at the reception.

It was very heartwarming to finally see my friend walk down the aisle and be with the love of her life after years of being LDR. I was teary during the exchange of vows.
