Ton Diamonds: The first NFT collection on the TON Blockchain

What's so special about them and why do people buy these strange digital sparkling stones?

This is what the Diamonds look like: Very simple, very exclusive, very gallant! The owner receives the GLINT token in their wallet

Apart from the fact that they are beautiful and simple, i.e. just nice to look at, they have a special feature:

They emiss the GLINT token, a token on the TON blockchain, currently the fastest chain in the world.

And GLINT is not just any game token, with no value, as we know it from #HiveEngine. It is listed on #Coingecko and #CMC and its value is currently around 20ct.

You can trade it for TON at any time or pool a dex on TON and earn yield on e.g. Ston.fi.

This Diamond generates 1.32Glint per day for its owner]()

The white number written in purple indicates how much GLINT the diamond generates per day. The GLINTs are credited to your account on the Ton Diamonds website, when you connect your wallet, you can withdraw them to your wallet with one transaction.

As I said, the GLINTs are mined fully automatically, you don't have to do anything, just hold the Diamond in your wallet. The #SmartContract does the rest. If you sell the Diamond, you will of course no longer receive any GLINTs for it, but the buyer will.

Now you can work out how long you would have to hold the Diamond to get the purchase price back at the current Glin value. Or you can hold more Diamonds and thus increase the Glint emission speed.

You can find out exactly how to boost the speed on the Ton.Diamonds website under your profile after you have connected your wallet.

There are also other exclusive rights for Diamonds holders

This gives you access to private groups on Telegram where you can talk directly to the developers of the collection and the artists. That's quite something!

The TonDiamonds team also offers other benefits for the community

Conclusion: Is it still worth getting started?

Admittedly, if you had joined before the first Mint, you were better off: you could get a Diamond for almost nothing. But the Glint wasn't worth that much either.

Today, the cheapest Diamond costs 30 TON or you're really lucky and get one for a bit cheaper at an auction

The most expensive, on the other hand, costs a whopping 500,000 TON, so you can forget it if your name isn't Bill Gates.

But I think it's worth getting in, because both the Diamond and the TON price will go even higher and you can assume that you'll be able to sell the Diamond at a profit at a later date.

What's more, by then you'll have mined quite a lot of #Glint, which will also yield additional income through farming.

But even if you don't like the Diamonds for whatever reason, it's definitely worth a look: it's a prime example of how you can successfully build an NFT project that radiates far beyond the die-hard core community.

In the meantime, #TonDiamonds has become much more than a simple NFT collection, but a real platform on which selected NFT stars exhibit their work and which generates further projects.

But it all started with simple, plain NFT graphics! TD will not be the last #example we present of how to build a community based on #NFT that benefits everyone and really gets things done.

Surely the hype around the Diamonds and the Glint will die down at some point, although it doesn't look like it at the moment, but I think that by then something new and worthwhile will have been created.

Outlook

It will be exciting to see what else the TON NFT community comes up with in the future. #TonDiamonds is just the beginning.

Once #SmartContract and #Sharding come together, which is the case with TON for the first time, at least in terms of quality and quantity, there will be no limits to the imagination.

The latest development is the #cNFT (c for comprimized). This makes it possible to mine and airdrop thousands of NFTs with a single transaction.

If the hodler uses the airdrop, it is like a real NFT and can be fully traded and collected.

More about this in the next posts.
