¡Hola Hola Comunidad! ✨, muchas veces he comentado por éste medio, que el maquillaje es el medio por el cual suelo drenar y expresar mis emociones, hoy quise inspirar mi maquillaje en Venezuela, y aunque normalmente mis looks de éste estilo suelen ser para el día de la independencia, éste año por ocupación de la universidad, se me hizo imposible disponer del tiempo para hacerlo, sin embargo los acontecimientos de las últimas semanas me han llevado a pensar constantemente en una forma de expresar como me ha hecho sentir la situación por la que atraviesa mi país, y hasta el momento, la mejor que encontré fue ésta 💛💙❤️.
Hello Hello Community! ✨, many times I have commented through this medium, that makeup is the means by which I usually drain and express my emotions, today I wanted to inspire my makeup in Venezuela, and although normally my looks of this style are usually for the independence day, this year due to the occupation of the university, it was impossible for me to have the time to do it, however, the events of the last few weeks have led me to constantly think of a way to express how the situation my country is going through has made me feel, and so far, the best one I found was this one 💛💙❤️.
Así como hice para el maquillaje del Grinch, en ésta oportunidad también trabajaré con productos de body paint, debo decir que no trabajaba con ellos desde ese maquillaje, así que sigo tratando de aprender la mejor técnica 🤣. Últimamente tengo la piel bastante seca, y como sé que estos producto acentúan mucho esos detalles, comencé el look hidratando mi piel para prepararla para lo que se venía 🤣, luego de esto marqué con un lápiz marrón los límites de los colores que usaría.
Just as I did for the Grinch makeup, this time I will also work with body paint products, I must say that I haven't worked with them since that makeup, so I'm still trying to learn the best technique 🤣. Lately I have quite dry skin, and as I know that these products accentuate a lot those details, I started the look by moisturizing my skin to prepare it for what was coming 🤣, after that I marked with a brown pencil the limits of the colours I would use.

Empecé por la parte blanca, que era básicamente la mayor parte de piel, aplicando el producto con brocha y a toques (sin arrastrar), luego integre mejor el color con una esponja y fuí retocando el color en donde hacía falta, repitiendo el mismo proceso. Luego de ésto sellé todo con mucho polvo suelto y me pasé a hacer exactamente lo mismo con el fragmento de la bandera 🇻🇪.
I started with the white part, which was basically most of the skin, applying the product with a brush and dabbing it on (without dragging), then I integrated the colour better with a sponge and went on touching up the colour where it was needed, repeating the same process. After this I sealed everything with a lot of loose powder and then I did exactly the same with the fragment of the flag 🇻🇪.

Ahora con la piel sellada y los colores listos, es momento de darle dimensión, en la parte blanca obviamente para lograr esto debía involucrar al querido color negro, el cual sería en éste caso el tono que me daría contorno en el rostro, aunque no se crean, el tono negro es difícil y requiere difuminar y retocar constantemente y con paciencia 🤣, pero después de un rato, se logró. Con la línea de la bandera, lo que hice fue aplicar los tonos correspondientes para intensificar los colores 💛💙❤️.
Now with the skin sealed and the colours ready, it's time to give it dimension, in the white part obviously to achieve this I had to involve the beloved black colour, which would be in this case the tone that would give me contour on the face, although don't believe it, the black tone is difficult and requires blurring and retouching constantly and with patience 🤣, but after a while, it was achieved. With the flag line, what I did was to apply the corresponding tones to intensify the colours 💛💙❤️.
Con sombra negra maquille la ceja del lado en blanco y negro, del otro lado la ceja intenté hacer la técnica con la pega en barra, pero me fallo la pega 🤣, así que solo me limité a fijarla con gel y cubrirla con el pigmento cuando lo estaba aplicando, algún día lograré la técnica de la pega 🤣. En el ojo libre hice algo sencillo, simplemente apliqué sombra amarilla en la parte del lagrimal, azúl en el área externa y rojo en la parte inferior del ojo.
With black shadow I made up the eyebrow on the black and white side, on the other side of the eyebrow I tried to do the technique with the glue stick, but the glue failed me 🤣, so I just fixed it with gel and covered it with pigment when I was applying it, someday I will achieve the glue technique 🤣. On the free eye I did something simple, I just applied yellow shadow on the tear trough, blue on the outer area and red on the lower part of the eye.

Sentía que al maquillaje le faltaba algo, así que decidí delinear el fragmento de la bandera con lápiz negro, el cual difumine con sombra negra y marrón. En el ojo maquillado apliqué rímel y pestañas postizas, y dibujé las estrellas de la bandera con delineador blanco. Los últimos detalles consistieron en añadir iluminador, dibujar líneas negras entre los colores de la bandera y en los labios, añadí color negro.
I felt that the make-up was missing something, so I decided to outline the flag fragment with black pencil, which I blended with black and brown shadow. On the made-up eye I applied mascara and false eyelashes, and drew the stars of the flag with white eyeliner. The last details consisted of adding highlighter, drawing black lines between the colours of the flag and on the lips, I added black colour.
