🐴 My first horseback riding adventure 🐴
Hello everyone. ❤️
How’s everyone doing? Hope you’re all doing well! 😊
For this post, it is my first horseback riding adventure. The name is "Saman Farm". First of all, I must say that "Saman Farm" is a place for horseback riding lessons, trail riding, pre-wedding photography, or just casual photography. This place is different from other places because not many people know about this farm. The advantage is that it is not busy, the service is excellent and impressive. It is suitable for those who are looking for a fun activity on their holiday while immersing themselves in nature and fresh air.
🚕 My Journey 🚕
- I traveled by car from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province to Saraburi Province, which took about 1.40 hours. I made an appointment to ride a horse at 9.30 am and spent about 2 hours riding a horse around the mountain for that day's activities.
When I arrived, the farm owner and his team warmly welcomed me. They were preparing a horse for me, and I was so excited to be here. I hoped the horse would be kind to me today. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to take as many photos of their work as we liked. Just seeing me looking around at the scenery seemed to excite the horse too—it looked ready for an adventure.
There were many different breeds of horses here, all well-trained. The farm owner introduced the horse by name and demonstrated voice commands and how to control the horse before we set off. I had two guides accompanying me on this trip to lead the way.
The lifestyle of the people here is simple and in harmony with nature, and they genuinely seem happy with their work. Perhaps it’s the surrounding nature and the joy of the moment that make everything feel so calm and peaceful. I truly believe there will definitely be a second horse-riding trip for me — especially because this journey didn’t feel rushed at all. Honestly, Thailand has truly magical places in every province that continue to impress and inspire me as a traveler.
That being said, I think it’s time for me to start horseback riding. Let the fun begin! 😊
We started by leading the horse to get it used to and familiar with us. We actually rode quite far around the hills, crossing rivers and enjoying the natural scenery of bamboo groves and pine forests, accompanied by the sounds of wild animals.
While I was riding, there was a guide leading the horse in front and always watching out for my safety. It was very exciting to control the horse, but it wasn’t as difficult or scary as I had imagined. This trip has been really enjoyable for me.
The difficult part for me was when the horse kept looking at the grass, ready to stop and enjoy eating. It was really hard to make the horse ignore that spot. I believe next time I’ll be able to control the horse better for sure, hehe.
I spent just over two hours horseback riding, and luckily the weather that day wasn’t too hot. However, I still worked up a good sweat. When I finished riding and got off the horse, my legs felt quite numb. 🤣🤣
My fun didn’t end there, and it was also my first time riding a white buffalo. A kind uncle was there to supervise me during the ride. The buffalo’s hair was quite coarse and stiff.
But because this buffalo was so adorable, I couldn’t resist sitting on it and slowly walking around the farm. I really wish you could experience this place for yourself — it’s something that can’t be put into words.
And I had the staff take some adorable photos to keep as cherished memories of this trip.
Finally, the fun time came to an end. Sigh—when we enjoy what we do, time always seems to fly by so quickly. This trip was both tiring and exciting because I got to try something new. It was such an unforgettable experience that’s hard to put into words. You really have to come and experience it yourself, and I believe you’ll be impressed with this place for sure Saman Farm.
