TR: Merhaba Hive TR ailesi. Bu hafta sonu ani bir kararla kız kardeşimin yanına Tarsus'a gitmeye karar verdik. Ani karar derken gerçekten de çok ani bir karardı. Gitmeye karar verdikten 35 dakika sonra arabaya binmiştik. 😃 Bu benim için çok kısa bir süre hem kendimin hazırlanması hem de oğlumun eşyalarını hazırlamak daha uzun sürüyor normalde. Çocuğu olanların beni daha iyi anlayacağından eminim. Çünkü çocuklarda her şey birden gelişiyor ona lazım olacak eşyaların hepsinin yanında hazır olması gerekiyor haliyle de çocukla hazırlanmak uzun sürüyor. Yola çıktıktan bir süre sonra aklıma Tarsus gezimle ilgili bir gönderi hazırlamak geldi. Orada fırsat buldukça fazla fotoğraf çekmeye çalıştım, çektim de ama fotoğraflar arasından seçim yapmak biraz zor oldu. Fotoğrafını çektiğim ilk yer gidiş güzergahında yakınından geçtiğimiz Turkuaz Gölü oldu. Biz
yola çıktığımızda saat 16.00 olmuştu akşamın yaklaşmasıyla ve bulutların etkisiyle (bana göre) muhteşem bir manzara ortaya çıkmış. Bu manzaranın fotoğrafını çekip sizlerle paylaşacağım fotoğraflar arasına ekledim.

Yolculuğumuz yaklaşık 4 buçuk saat sürdü. Bizim için yorucu bir yolculuk oldu. Yolculuğumuzun çoğunu karanlıkta gerçekleştirdiğimiz için oldukça yavaş gittik ve oğlum karanlıktan korktuğu için huzursuz oldu. Arabanın iç lambasını açınca sakinleşti ancak gündüz yolculukları kadar rahat değildi. Dört buçuk saat sonra eve ulaştığımızda rahatlamıştık. Ermenek'te sonbahar kendini iyice hissettirirken Tarsus yazdan kalma günler yaşıyordu.
Yemeğimizi yiyip hasret giderdikten sonra kız kardeşim ve kocası künefe yemeye gitmeyi teklif ettiler. Bizde hemen kabul ettik ve şehir merkezinde bulunan künefeciye gittik. Mekanda farklı tatlılar ve farklı künefeler olsa da biz klasik künefe yemeyi tercih ettik. Künefeyle birlikte az miktarda meyve ve süt ikram ettiler. Biz ilk defa böyle bir ikramla karşılaşmıştık, kardeşim meyvelerin ve sütün tatlıdan daha iyi lezzet almak için olduğunu söyledi. Bence de tatlının şeker oranının kırılması için süt ikram ediyorlar. Diyabet hastalarına yedikleri şeylerin yanında süt ve süt ürünlerini tavsiye ediyorlar. Hamileliğimde gebelik şekeri çıktığında doktorum yemeklerin yanında ve ara öğünlerde süt ürünlerini tüketmeyi tavsiye etmişti.

Our journey took about 4 and a half hours. It was a tiring journey for us. While autumn was making itself felt in Ermenek, Tarsus was enjoying the days of summer.
After eating and catching up, my sister and her husband suggested we go for künefe. We immediately accepted and went to the künefe shop in the city center. Although there were different desserts and different künefe in the place, we preferred to eat classic künefe. They offered us a small amount of fruit and milk with the künefe. It was the first time we had encountered such a treat, my brother said that the fruits and milk were to get a better flavor from the dessert. I think they serve milk to break the sugar content of the dessert. They recommend milk and dairy products to diabetics along with what they eat. When I had gestational diabetes during my pregnancy, my doctor recommended consuming dairy products with meals and snacks.

Sabah kahvaltımızı yaptıktan sonra gün içerisinde nereleri gezeceğimize karar verdik. İlk durağımız pazar oldu 😃 pazara gitmekteki amacımız cennet meyvesi veya cennet hurması denilen meyveden ucuza bulabilmekti. Pazarın girişinde buram buram mandalina ve limon kokuyordu ilk defa bir pazarın böyle güzel bir koku aldım. Pazardaki ürünlerin hepsi taze ve çok güzel görünüyordu. Aradığımız cennet meyvesini pazarda bulamadık ama ihtiyacımız olan başka şeyler aldık. Cennet meyvesini de ilçe halinde bizim ilçemize göre ucuza bulabildik. 😃 Cennet meyvelerini kurutmak için fazla alıyoruz bu sebeple de uygun fiyatlı olanı araştırdık.

After having breakfast in the morning, we decided where to visit during the day. Our first stop was the market 😃 Our purpose in going to the market was to find the fruit called paradise fruit or paradise dates for cheap. At the entrance of the market, it smelled of tangerines and lemons, it was the first time I smelled such a nice smell of a market. All the products in the market were fresh and looked very beautiful. We could not find the fruit of paradise we were looking for in the market, but we bought other things we needed. We were able to find the fruit of paradise cheaper in the district market than in our district 😃We buy a lot of fruits of paradise for drying, so we searched for an affordable one.

Pazar alışverişinden merkezde bulunan ve adı Yarenlik olan trafiğe kapalı caddeye gittik. Farklı dükkanlara gidip dolaştık. Öğle yemeği vakti gelince Yarenlikte bulunan bir restorana gittik farklı alternatifler olmasına rağmen biz İskender yemeyi tercih ettik. Porsiyon gerçekten de çok doyurucu idi. Yemeğin sonuna doğru pideleri değil de sadece et döneri yedim. 😃

After Sunday shopping, we went to the street in the center called Yarenlik, which is closed to traffic. We went to different shops and wandered around. When it was time for lunch, we went to a restaurant in Yarenlik. Although there were different alternatives, we preferred to eat Iskender. The portion was really filling. Towards the end of the meal, I didn't eat the pitas but only the meat doner 😃

Çay içmek ve dinlenmek için Şelale adı verilen yere gittik. Buranın içerisinde bir kaç tane çay bahçesi var. Biz direkt girişte olan çay bahçesine oturduk ve çaylarımızı içtik. Çay içerken arka masamızın bankında uyuyan kedi dikkatimi çekti onu rahatsız etmeden fotoğrafını çekip yanından ayrıldım. Çaylarımızı içtikten sonra şelale olan kısma doğru yöneldiğimizde Karacaoğlan heykelini gördüm. Ziyaretçileri fazla olan bu tür yerlerde kültürümüzden parçalar görmek beni mutlu ediyor. Gerek su sesiyle gerekse görüntüsüyle şelaleyi çok beğendim. Şelale kısmı çok fazla kalabalıktı hatta fotoğraf çekimine gelen çiftler de vardı.

We went to a place called Waterfall to drink tea and relax. There are a few tea gardens in this place. We sat in the tea garden directly at the entrance and drank our tea. While drinking tea, I noticed a cat sleeping on the bench of our back table and I took a photo of it without disturbing it and left it. After drinking our tea, when we headed towards the waterfall, I saw the statue of Karacaoğlan. It makes me happy to see pieces of our culture in such places with many visitors. I liked the waterfall very much both with the sound of the water and its appearance. The waterfall part was very crowded and there were even couples coming to take photos.

İkindin olmasıyla biraz yorulmuştuk ama Tarsus'u da gezmeye devam etmek istiyorduk. Kalabalık olmayan sakin bir yer olarak Tarsus Barajı aklımıza geldi. Barajın ayrı bir ismi var mı bilmiyorum herkes baraj diyor😃 Baraja gidip orada bulunan mesire alanını biraz dolaştıktan sonra fotoğraflarda gördüğünüz köprünün üzerinde biraz yürüyüş yaptık. Daha önceki Tarsus ziyaretimizde de buraya gelmiştik ve çay içmiştik yine o çay bahçesine gitmek istedik ancak orası tadilattaymış. Önceki çay bahçesinin tadilatta olması biraz iyi oldu sanırım. Üzerinden geçtiğimiz köprü manzarasında çay ve kahvelerimizi içtik.

We were a little tired because it was afternoon but we wanted to continue to visit Tarsus. Tarsus Dam came to our mind as a quiet place without crowds. I don't know if the dam has a separate name, everyone says dam😃 After going to the dam and walking around the promenade area there, we took a walk on the bridge you see in the photos. On our previous visit to Tarsus we had come here and had tea and we wanted to go to that tea garden again but it was under renovation. I guess it was good that the previous tea garden was under renovation. We drank tea and coffee in the view of the bridge we passed over.

Kız kardeşimin evinin bahçesinde olan Mersin- Murt meyvesi. Tadı bana biraz buruk geldi. Olgunlaşmamış olduğu için mi tadı hep öyle olduğu için mi bilmiyorum.

Akşam olduğunda çok yorgunduk ama bir o kadar da mutluyduk. 23 Ekim kardeşimin doğum günü. Kocası da onun için bu pastayı aldı. Pazar öğlen yola çıkacağımız için doğum gününü bir gün önce kutladık.

By the evening we were very tired but very happy. October 23rd is my sister's birthday. Her husband bought this cake for her. We celebrated her birthday the day before because we were leaving on Sunday afternoon.

Pazar günü sabah kahvaltı yaptıktan sonra yola çıkmadan önce biraz vaktimiz vardı. Nereye gitsek ? diye düşünürken Tarsu'ya yani Tarsus'taki alışveriş merkezine karar verdik. Vaktimiz az olduğu için çok fazla gezemedik birkaç mağazaya uğradık. Benim dikkatimi kitap stantları çekti kitapları biraz inceledikten sonra İlber ORTAYLI ve John STEİNBECK'İN kitaplarından aldım. Tarsu'da dolaşırken selfie odalarını gördüm ve onların da fotoğraflarını çektim. Ben en çok siyah beyaz illüzyonlu odayı beğendim.

After having breakfast on Sunday morning, we had some time before we set off. While thinking about where to go, we decided on Tarsu, the shopping center in Tarsus. I liked the black and white illusion room the most.

Tarsu'da biraz vakit geçirdikten sonra öğle yemeği yedik. Burger King varken başka bir yer aramadık 😃 Buruk bir şekilde yemeği yedik. Kavuşmaları her zaman güzel ve heyecanlı oluyor ama ayrılıklarda üzüyor. Kardeşimin evine dönüp kahve içtik ve 14.00 gibi evimize dönmek üzere yola çıktık. Eve dönüş yolculuğu gündüz olması sebebiyle oğlumuz ve bizim için rahat geçti. Yolda zeytin, mandalina ağaçlarını ve denizi izleyerek keyifli bir yolculuk geçirdik.

After spending some time in Tarsu, we had lunch. We didn't look for another place when there was Burger King 😃 We had lunch in a bitter way. Reunions are always beautiful and exciting, but separations are also sad. We went back to my brother's house, had coffee and left for home around 14.00. The journey home was comfortable for our son and us because it was daytime. On the way, we had a pleasant time watching the olive and tangerine trees and the sea.

Yolculuğa mola verdiğim zaman meyveli soda içmeyi seviyorum. Karadut ve frenk üzümü aromalı sodayı tercih ettim ve tadını beğendim. Önceki yolculuklarımda limonlu tercih ediyordum. I like to drink fruit soda when I take a break from traveling. I preferred blackberry and blackcurrant flavored soda and I liked the taste. I preferred lemon on my previous trips. When I was going to take a photo to share this travel classic with you, my son held the soda bottle and I think he wanted to be in the photo.
It was a very enjoyable weekend for me and while preparing this post, I did the activities again and experienced the excitement and happiness I felt at those times again.
