How are you all? I hope you are all well and healthy. Today I will share with you my travel experience of an important place that I hope you will like a lot. Today I will visit the Jessore Collectorate Building located in the heart of Jessore district town and share my travel experience. When the British ruled this subcontinent, they built many beautiful iconic buildings. Among them is the Jessore Collectorate Building. Anyone will be forced to admire the unique architectural style of this building. It was built in 1885. During the British rule, administrative activities were conducted from this building. Anyone who sees this building can think of it as an old-fashioned palace. It is still standing tall as a witness to history. Today I will share with you my experience of how I felt after visiting this ancient monument. I hope you will enjoy reading today's blog. You will know the history very well. So let's get started.

My friend and I first took a bus from our upazila town Gangni to our neighboring upazila Alamdanga. After reaching Alamdanga, we went to Alamdanga Railway Station because we went to Jashore by train. We bought a train ticket for Jashore from Alamdanga Station and boarded the train. After completing the train journey of about 2 hours, we reached Jashore Railway Station. From the railway station, we took a rickshaw again and went directly to the front of the Jashore Collectorate Building. Seeing the unique and beautiful architecture and beauty of the Collectorate Building, my mind was filled. Seeing the magnificent architecture, I felt like it was a royal palace. It was built during the British rule. The British have built many such structures in this subcontinent that are still standing tall with the passage of time. The main gate of this building is currently closed. So we could not enter through the main gate. So we entered through the side gate. But I will share the photo of the main gate with you. We entered through the side gate and reached that beautiful building. Just looking at the building, our eyes were filled with joy. We were fascinated by the beauty of the building. The building looked like a huge building made of British architecture. I was fascinated by the beautifully designed windows. One thing I regretted was that the building has been built following the same design on each side of the main building. Small dome-shaped minarets have been built on top of the building. Which has increased the beauty of the building to a great extent.

Then we moved forward a little. One thing you may not have been told is that the Jessore Collectorate building is currently being used as the office of the Jessore District Commissioner. So there are many people coming and going here now. Then we moved forward and saw that there is a raised round area in front of the main building for vehicles to enter. Which you can understand if you look at the picture above. Actually, this is not a place for vehicles to enter. In ancient times, when elephants used to enter through the round gate in front of the Collectorate building, a large gate was made so that elephants could enter. We entered through that in front of the main building. There are many flower gardens in front of the main building. Many people were working to beautify that garden. We also entered inside. You can say that we entered without taking permission. After entering, I saw a beautiful view of the building. The entire building was visible from here. It looked very beautiful to see the building. We were fascinated by this beautiful building. If you look at the pictures above, you can understand how beautiful the building looks from here. We enjoyed the view from here very much. You can see from the pictures above how beautiful the entire view of the building is.

Since the view of the entire building is visible from here, we kept watching the video of the entire building from different angles. We watched the video of the entire building from two sides and two angles. In fact, I cannot explain the beauty of the building by just describing it to you. If you go there and see it directly, you will understand how beautiful it is. I told you that I will show you the main gate of the building. If you look at the last picture uploaded above, you will understand that this is the main gate of the building. When you look at the very beautiful main gate, it seems like the gate of a palace. The main gate has been made very big and high so that when the building was established in ancient times, elephants could enter directly through this gate. Because during the British period, various works were performed by elephants. The design of the main gate has been done in accordance with the design of the building.

Then we noticed that a lot of development work is going on here under the initiative of the Jessore District Administration. Then we saw another thing, a lot of old cars are piled up here. There is so much old cars that there is no space below, so many cars are kept inside the building and on the floor. The reason for keeping so many old cars here, as I have already said, is that this beautiful building is currently being used for government work, namely for the district administration. So all the illegal cars that are caught by the police or law enforcement agencies are seized and brought here.

Then I took a photo of myself with the old car to keep it in my memory. After taking my photo, I saw that the flowering trees in front of the building looked very beautiful from here. Then I felt that I needed to take a beautiful picture of myself in front of the entire building to keep as a memory. So again we went inside the flowering tree area in front of the building and took a beautiful photo of ourselves there. I took the photo in such a way that the magnificent building was behind me. You can understand this by looking at the photos above.

Since the main building is currently used for government purposes, the public is not allowed to enter the building. So we could not enter the entire inside of the building, that is, inside the rooms. Even then, we went up to the balcony in front of the building. The first thing I noticed when I went to the balcony was the old wooden door of this building from a long time ago. The doors still look very strong. I was very pleased to see this very strong door. Then, to enter the floor inside the building, there are gates that are high enough to go from one floor to another on all sides. The thing that caught my attention the most was the ceiling of the building. The ceiling of the building is dome-shaped. Just by looking at this, you can understand how beautiful this building is.

Then we moved towards the back of the building. We were fascinated as we moved towards the back of the building. It was as if we were seeing this Collectorate building in a completely new way. The building is as beautiful as it is from the front of the building, it is just as beautiful from the back. From the back, it seems as if we are seeing a new and beautiful architectural structure. We kept looking around the entire area. The more we looked at this red brick building, the more we were fascinated. It is like a palace from a fairy tale world. You will understand very well by looking at the photos above. It is really a palace, you will feel the same. I believe that you will want to visit it after looking at the photos.

Since government work is done in this place, many visitors come here along with government work. Therefore, the district administration has taken the initiative to make this place very beautiful and open to visitors, but not just outside the building. Therefore, special beautiful initiatives have been taken by the district administration here, such as places to sit, beautiful ponds, libraries, etc. The thing you are seeing above is an architecture written about Jessore district. Here, the list of Deputy Commissioners of Jessore and various things about the history and heritage of Jessore are written. And the map that you can see in the middle is the map of Jessore district.

Then we saw again that a library has been built there on the initiative of the district administration. The library is not very big or small but I was very happy to see it. Because I am a book lover. Then I came to a little side and saw that Joyful Jessore is beautifully written. The purpose of this writing is to explain that Jessore is a district of joy and wealth. Since many people come here, many hawkers here sell their food-filled balloons to small children, and I also captured that on camera.

The pond that you can see next is located right behind the Collectorate building. The pond is beautifully landscaped and beautiful colorful fish always float in the pond. Which can make any of you feel good. I have captured the fish on camera and shared them with you. You can understand by looking at the photos above. The fish are very beautiful and colorful.

The gate you are looking at now is the gate of the mosque of the Collectorate building. The mosque, which is beautiful and can be seen from the side on the bank of the pond, is very beautiful. The mosque is also of the architecture of the previous era. It can be understood by looking at the four tall minarets around the mosque.

I went forward a little further and saw a beautiful red building. This is also a beautiful architecture built during the British period which is currently the Information Office District Office Jessore. Seeing these, I took a photo of myself on the beautiful pond of Jessore and kept it as a memory. I hope you liked my travel blog.
