DiscoverBangladesh #3 || The Alamdanga Massacre is a silent witness to a bloody history.
Hello everyone...
How are you all, I hope you are well. I am well. Today I will share with you a very heartbreaking incident. Which will definitely make your heart cry. The incident is related to the Bangladesh Liberation War. You all know that Bangladesh was previously part of Pakistan. After being freed from the oppression of Pakistan, it took its place on the world map as a new country, that is Bangladesh. The people of this country had to make many sacrifices to achieve this independence of Bangladesh. The people of Bengal had to fight with Pakistan for nine long months. Many people gave their lives here. Before and during the war, the Pakistani occupying forces indiscriminately killed many innocent men and women of this country and raped and then killed many women. They took each person to a specific place and then killed them.
I have brought you today to show such a place. These places are called Buddh Bhoomi Massacre, where innocent and silent people were killed indiscriminately. Which was very heartbreaking. Where all the people were blindfolded and killed. If you look at the pictures in my post, you will notice that many statues have been made here, the statues have been made in memory of how people were killed. Innocent people were killed here blindfolded. Which was very heartbreaking. If you look at the pictures in the post, you will see many human skeletons, skulls, etc. This is how people were killed and left here. Then they were eaten by vultures. This was actually a very heartbreaking event in the history of Bangladesh. You can surely understand by now how much sacrifice and how many lives the people of this country gave for the formation of Bangladesh. We pray for the forgiveness of the souls of all those martyrs who helped our Bangladesh to become independent. There is no way to understand this without seeing how heinous atrocities the army of our country committed against the people of that country.
And this Massacre was created to inform the younger generation about that terrible history. The Bangladesh government has created Massacre in different places in the country where such brutal killings took place. This Massacre is one of them. The name of this Massacre is Alamdanga Baddhabhumi. It is located in Alamdanga Upazila of Chuadanga district. It is located very close to Alamdanga city. Which is very important for knowing history. I went there and looked around completely. However, the place that you are listening to was silent at that time. There was no one there, only me. My body was shaking a little. Seeing these. I could feel at least a little what the senseless killing was like at that time. I looked around and tried to capture the important things on camera. The first thing I saw when I went here was that a memorial tower had been built here for the peace of the souls of those who were martyred here. In the minaret of memory, I first saw that many people's heads were opened above all. What is meant by the skull is that the Pakistani invaders used to kill the people and leave them in the same way, then the people could not perform the last rites due to the fear of the Pakistani or the invading forces. So the vultures used to eat them.
The skulls were left. These skulls are arranged here. Then you're seeing a lot of idols that are hung upside down. Many were hung upside down and killed. One of the most important things we should all know. Again, many people have been planted on the ground up to their chests. Many others have been lined up in line with their eyes closed. This means that they were killed in this way. All those memories are made and shown here. Joan was not freed from this brutality from children to old people. My heart was crying when I went here. I felt like I could feel the despair of all those days. Many were buried in the ground up to their chests. Then he was shot. You can see everything if you look closely at these statues. You will find many idols inside the post and you will understand those idols if you look carefully. I doubt if such a brutal murder happened anywhere else in the world.
Alamdanga Massacre is a silent witness of that brutal history. This Massacre is located in Alamdanga Upazila, surrounded by history and tradition. Many visitors come here. But the day I went there was a government holiday. So not many people came here. And I chose the holiday because I will make a beautiful block video for you, so I chose the holiday. I took pictures of the entire scene with my mobile. I also recorded it again. I also made a video. You can watch the video through my Two wheeler with kingparvez YouTube channel. I will give the video link below. If you notice one more thing, you will see. But here it is decorated with many flowers and trees, which is very important. These beautiful flowers and trees also attract visitors a lot. So you will like it a lot when you see them. These flowers and trees are very important for everyone. They are beautifully arranged in such a way that every visitor can come here and enjoy a very beautiful environment. And can see the silence of Bengali history. This place has been decorated in this way. You should also try to visit this place if you have time. This place carries a great moment of Bangladesh's independence war. Which is a very important issue. There are many things to learn from history here, many things to know about history. So this is very important for everyone.
I want to remind everyone of one thing. The people of our country had to make many sacrifices to get this Bangladesh. We got our country in exchange for 3 million lives. With it comes the honor of many women. Many children, many elderly people, many ordinary people were killed indiscriminately. There is more torture. We got our country by overcoming all these things. Which is very important for us. We believe in the same nationalism. We can never forget Bengali nationalism. People all over the world know that we are one. We have told people all over the world that Bengalis are united. So if you who are people from other countries look at the history of Bangladesh's independence war, you will understand how much sacrifices we made and how much struggle we fought for our independence. We will never forget this senseless killing. We want to highlight this issue to the whole world And we hate all those animals called humans who have tortured the ordinary people of our country so much.
I think they have no humanity. They are a nation without humanity. This is what I think. And we will never forget their murder, we will remember their murder for the rest of our lives and we will try to resist all those people wherever they are in the world. There is no forgiveness for them in the future until they officially apologize to us. You may not know that Pakistan has not officially apologized to Bangladesh for all these atrocities till date. And we will not forgive them either. But even after all this torture, we defeated them through the Liberation War and got our new country Bangladesh. Considering all these aspects, we can say that as Bengalis, we are a proud nation.
