A historic old landlord's house built during the British rule.🏫
Hello @worldmappin community friends.
How are you all? Hope you are well. Today I will share a very important travel experience with you. The travel experience was a travel experience of an ancient landlord's house. That landlord's house is still standing as a witness to the past. When the British rule was going on in this subcontinent, the British built this landlord's house for them to live in. They built it with such an aesthetic design and they built it so strong that even though it was built at that time, it still stands tall. Today, I will share my experience with you about how I felt after visiting this ancient monument. I hope you will enjoy reading today's blog. You will get to know the history very well. Let's get started.
My friend and I went out on a motorcycle to the landlord's house. The landlord's house is located in Bhatpara village of Gangni upazila of Meherpur district. We went near the landlord's house on a motorcycle. As we got closer, we saw that iconic building. Although it is very old, this landlord's house stands tall as a witness to the times. The British built this landlord's house during the British rule in the Indian subcontinent. Despite being built a long time ago, the house still stands tall. It is currently a protected site of the Department of Archaeology in Bangladesh. We kept looking around the landlord's house. Looking at the architecture or structure of the landlord's house, it seems like a touch of nobility. Despite being a very old house, it seems like a place rich in iconic design. The British really built it very beautifully at that time. We kept looking around. My friend and I enjoyed the place very much.
The house has two floors. There is a staircase on one side of the house to go up from the ground floor to the upper floor. We started climbing up the stairs. I saw the staircase with my hand and felt a different feeling in my mind. I felt very blessed to have a touch of ancient nobility. Although it was built a long time ago, the stairs are still strong and the building is strong. We climbed the stairs up to the two floors. When we got up, I saw an old-fashioned door. Since no one lives in this building now, the door was open. The reason for keeping the door open is that regular visitors come here to visit. Later, we entered through the door. After entering, it felt like we were entering a landlord's house from a bygone era. A different feeling was created in my mind. We kept looking around inside the house. Although it was a little dark inside the house, we had no difficulty. Looking at the doors and windows, it seemed like the doors and windows surrounded by the nobility of that ancient era.
First, we noticed that the room we entered was very long and the roof of that room was made like a dome. You can understand it if you look carefully at the picture I shared with you. I hope you will like the dome-like roof. Such roofs were only found in ancient buildings. Another thing I noticed was that there were no doors inside the building to go from one room to another. We did not get a clear idea whether there were no doors at that time or whether they no longer exist. If you have any idea about this, then definitely let us know in the comment section. We kept looking around everything carefully. And we went from one room to another.
Then, as we came from one room to another, we saw a bigger room and the ceiling above this room was also dome-shaped like the previous room. Then we went a little further and saw that this time there was a lock on the door and two doors. After crossing the door, we went ahead and saw a balcony. Although some parts of the bell tower were broken, it was still clear that there was a very beautiful balcony here. From the balcony, a very beautiful view of the surroundings or the front could be seen. We kept taking pictures of these and enjoying them from very close. I felt like I was watching the zamindari rule in that ancient zamindar's house. I liked it very much.
The balcony was very beautiful to look at. The surrounding areas were very beautiful to see from the balcony. We captured some pictures of the surrounding areas from the balcony. After capturing, we shared them with you. After capturing some pictures of the surrounding areas from the balcony, we came down again. Coming down, we took a picture of the entire building again. After taking it, we went to the other side.
Coming to a side, we saw the ruins of some other old buildings. It is believed that these were built by the British during the British period. Their ruins still survive due to the evolution of time. We kept looking around and seeing these buildings. We tried to understand very closely what kind of buildings they were. However, they are not yet standing like the first building. They are almost on the verge of destruction.
After visiting these ancient buildings very well, we moved forward a little further. Moving forward a little further, we saw a beautiful reddish colored building. This building was also built a long time ago. Even after being built a long time ago, this building was not destroyed. This architecture has survived very beautifully. We went closer and saw the building. And I captured it from a distance to show you. Thus ended our tour of the landlord's house. Throughout the entire trip, I was in a world of imagination that I cannot express in words. Old architecture attracts me very much.
In this article, I have uploaded several pictures of the Zamindar house and described the experience in detail. I hope all of you who have taken the time and patience to read my blog, have enjoyed it very much. How did you feel after finishing my entire blog? Please comment.
