Rice Khir Recipe

Rice kheer makes any occasion special. In Indian households, especially during festivals, chawal ki kheer is a must. While kheer can be made in various ways, rice kheer is the most ancient and popular. The reason behind it is quite clear. Rice kheer not only tastes delicious but also has a straightforward recipe. From children to the elderly, everyone enjoys eating kheer. The taste of rice kheer prepared with dry fruits is delightful to everyone. Ingredients for Rice Kheer:
- Rice – 100 grams
- Milk – 1 liter
- Sugar – 150 grams
- Crushed cardamom
- Cashews, Almonds, Raisins, Chironji – Mix them up to 50 grams
Instructions:
- Clean the rice and soak it in water for about 1 hour. During this time, take cashews, almonds, and pistachios, and cut them into fine pieces. After the specified time, remove the rice from water and wash them once again with clean water.
- Take a pot, heat the milk. Once it boils, add the rice and let it cook. When the rice is done, and it looks well-cooked in the milk, add crushed cardamom.
- Turn off the heat and add sugar, as the kheer is hot, the sugar will dissolve. Add all the chopped dry fruits. Your piping hot kheer is ready; enjoy it by stirring, it tastes delicious.
