A TRIP TO THE SEA
Good day family it's been a while for sure, but I never forgot my family here on hive... And I can tell you guys I'm fully back. Let me take you to my second trip in September (A TRIP TO THE SEA ⛵)
This is one of the popular Jetty in our City of warri, (THE N.P.A) water side very close to The checkpoint, it looks really old and dirty though and this is because of The lack of maintenance from our leaders. Honestly speaking the city of warri is tagged (THE OIL CITY) but truth be told the only oil we see are the ones from spillages that causes damages
Let us come to the matter proper, there's more to be told. These are actually my guys i embarked on the journey with (From the Left)= (FORTUNE, Daddy J and UCHE Tallest) it took us quite some time before we journeyed because the person we are suppose to go with took a little while before he arrived at the jetty
But immediately he came we chattered a boat and the rest is yet to come 😇
We journeyed for more than a hour on a large water body, but truth be told it was really stressful 😬 for me because we have waited for about 2hours at the Jetty
And there is still work to do (Electrical work) when we arrive there
On the way we took crazy pictures, had fun times, we laughed and the rest. My mind was that they were going to be scared while we were journeying, but to my greatest surprised they were super calm and relaxed... Even when there was little rumbling on the Sea or when there's a big wave from other boats passing they never panicked
Not my first time of journeying on the Sea though but I was just concerned about those with me (But I was positive ✌️😁) To the glory of God we arrived safely but the location was mind blowing. Guess where we were 🤔?
We went close to the gulf of Guinea, a very large water body close to the Atlantic's 😲😲. When I showed it to my guys they were really marvelled and we saw giant ships that passed while we were journeying... I sighted 3 mighty ships. When I say mighty I meant very big, calculating about 7-8 storeys from ground level
And it didn't just end there, we were told something amazing (WE WERE TOLD THAT WHERE WE VISITED WAS THE HOME TO OUR VERY POPULAR MAN "Tom Polo") the current surveiller of the Sea. And we have the first Maritime university in this village, I saw some of my brothers (THE MARINERS 😇🤗💕⛵) Which we exchanged pleasantries and salute. It was indeed an amazing time there, the night was short I'll confess, Even though I didn't sleep early
This was the early morning of our return,we had to rush up with the work on the very day we arrived so we can return back the next day and we accomplished our target (finished with the wiring and we'll be coming back for fittings and some other installation)
when I saw the Sea that morning it was mind blowing 😲😲, I salivated for the Sea and instantly wished I was onboard. But that will be happening Soon
I took the opportunity to snap some pictures, not my regular thing though but I had to take advantage of the moment. It may take a little while before it comes though
The river looks shallow from where I'm standing but it is up to 20-30 feets deep, so when you are around a jetty please always play safe
This is I and UCHE (Tally), I may look taller than him but honestly speaking I cheated 😁😁, I was standing one step above him (I CAN'T COMMAN FALL MY HANDS)
This is on our way back we saw the tank farm of our popular fuel depot (MATRIX GAS). Situated in the city of warri, very close to AA-RANO,AYR,NNPC and AY - SHAFA Depots . It's a sight that shows us that warri is still blessed with so many resources and our Jetty's can receive bigger boats if well maintained
Some ships that anchored at the Port, ready to offload their petroleum products
This ship journeyed from Lagos to warri(The MATRIX GAS Depot,we passed each other on our way and she really did send a large wave 🌊.
Ships dockyard... Not really inuse due to unsettled dispute between company owners and tax force... Hope it revives soon because it will house so many employment for the youths around that community
Back to warri again, home to smaller boats
Do you know there are floating filling stations, it's not even far in the river it's here in our very warri Boatyard/Jetty. This is where some of the boat drivers get their PMS (fuel) for their movement
It was a worth while time at the Sea, until we arrived at warri again (still tired from the journey because we moved early that morning and I haven't recovered from the other day movement)
The Sea of Delta state is safe with good survey, in case you have it in mind to visit anytime... This will be the little we'll take on this one and I do hope you had a nice time with me... Till next post, please stay safe
Was this the sea you sailed through? 😳😳😳 I cannot!! I have phobia for large waters like this one. Omo! You are so bold and brave to even snapped backing the water.
That was fun for you guys though but for a mind that is tough 😅😅😅
I have this freedom with water, I barely get scared. Maybe because I'm a good swimmer though
But there's not much to be scared about, there are actually life jacket too if you are really scared because this is not the kind of water body to swim (Too large) thanks for coming around ✌️❤️
😅😅 Perhaps will try the life jacket someday. Thank you.
Better, you are welcome
