Life During COVID

During the pandemic, one of the widely hit industries was events. I, personally experienced canceled bookings from corporate, birthdays, and weddings. And it was tough to bring food to the table. Some of my friends even sold their equipment just to survive.

While we’re under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), the government only allows one person per household to have a quarantine pass to buy necessities. And really, our country experienced a big hit during the hype of COVID-19.

Whenever I go out, I bring my camera to document the situation. One thing, I’ve learned is how valuable relationships are.

When I took the time to sit down with these photographs, I felt grateful. But not for myself, but for them. For the people who were at the frontlines. All of us were scared but they chose to do their part even if it may end their lives. For me, they are like an angel in disguise fighting head-to-head with COVID-19 so that it will not reach our households. I have a high respect for them doing what needs to be done during the adversity. Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank the frontliners not just in our country but to the whole world who were affected deeply.

These photos will be a part of one of the greatest histories ever told when the year time has stopped.
