Monomad | A Stroll Through Urban Splendors
Hello, my friends of the Black and White community! Today's entry for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes is all about street photography. I am not a pro when it comes to this kind of photography, but I am still learning the tricks.
Today, I will take you to Downtown Cebu, where its busiest market is located.
Carbon Market is a well-known and historic market situated in Cebu City, Philippines. It is one of the oldest and largest public markets in the city, and it has been a significant trading hub for various goods for many years.
Carbon Market also provides a glimpse into the daily lives of the people of Cebu.
It's a place where you can witness the energy and spirit of the local vendors, gain insights into the regional products and traditions, and capture authentic moments through street photography, as the market's dynamic environment offers countless opportunities for candid and meaningful shots.
Near Carbon Market are those hundreds of years old buildings left by colonizers during the Spanish and American eras.
These buildings near Carbon Market, including the Compañía Marítima edifice and the evocative Gotiaoco Building, which houses a Chinese Museum inside, provide a tangible link to the city's multifaceted past. They invite visitors to immerse themselves in the tales these structures silently tell through their remarkable architecture and historical significance.
