5 minutes a day are 30 hours a year.

“If only a week had 10 days” and “If I could add a few more hours into the day” Who isn’t guilty of thinking or saying something in those lines out loud at least a few times in their life?

Doing more. We always feel like we have to do more of everything. More work, more pleasure, more dedication, more tasks.

But it is true, none of us can add a few extra days to one week.

If you already do a lot it isn’t doing more that gives your time more value. It is doing more of what counts and less of what distracts, that brings changes into your life.

Some things are easier than others. Some more obvious than the rest.

Even without Netflix, Drugs or Instagram I still feel like I could use a few more hours each day. Only that this will never happen. I can’t add hours I can only take away tasks that fill them. And I can limit my focus. On the things that really count.

Maybe that’s why I have difficulties with working most 9 to 5 jobs. How come my value should be measured in the time I spend, rather than the things I achieved?

There is a process to value as well. The way that brought you somewhere. It isn’t just about the result. But in any case you are the result, of the process and the achievement.

How many hours a week do you spend on the health of your mind and body?

How many hours on youtube and your phone?

How much time do you dedicate to learning and reading?

How much goes into distraction and short lasting pleasures?

How much time do you spend with people you love and appreciate?

And how much are you around people you can’t stand?

5 minutes a day are 30 hours a year.

Imagine how far you can bring yourself with only the consistency of dedicating 5 minutes a day to any task that adds value to your life.

Which things have you recently decided do cut out of your life to “have more time”?

Cheers for stopping by, have a great week!

5 minutes a day are 30 hours a year.

Interesting to know.
How long would that take me to reach mastery? ( 10000 hours )
Oh wait, about 330.

So I guess with about 40 to 50 years left ( If I'm lucky ), I should probably spend about an hour per day on something I want to get great at, until I die haha!

Just kidding.

Nice musings of yours, today ( as per usual ).

Sending a hug!

Isn't it?! I am usually not a fan of putting my life into numbers, but in regard on how I spend my time it gives some interesting perspectives...:)
