I have never seen a bee like that! It looks very cool and almost looks like a robot bee. :D I am happy that you took these pics and shared it because I would never have been able to see a carpenter bee any other way. They don't have them where I am.

It's always great to see your posts and pics. So many colorful pics of plants and animals. I'm glad you're here on Hive and I hope to see lots more posts from you in 2025 and beyond! :)

This is what I found its name on Google. Initially, I thought it was a Bumblebee, but after a quick search on Google, I learned that while they resemble Bumblebees, Carpenter bees are different. What’s fascinating is that they make their nests by drilling holes in hard wood or plant stems, which is likely why they are called Carpenter bees.
