RE: Visiting Karlovy Vary - A picturesque town in Czech Republic

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

A city that boasts of "countless hot springs, bathhouses and spa resorts" is worth visiting! These pictures are stunning. I especially like the one capturing the reflection of the restaurant building. The architecture of this city is classic and lovely.

...you'll see people making faces when drinking from one of these faucets

So the water is safe for drinking?

I hope those giant looking ants on that building are not alive! 😄 Thanks for taking us on a tour through Karlovy Vary. 🙂

Yes, the town is really picturesque! Nice combination of natural parks, beautiful architecture and big public squares. The water is safe for drinking in Czech Republic (at least that's what they say) and marketed as having healing benefits in those water springs downtown. I haven't tried it though. :)

Haha no, the giant ants are only a decoration. An interesting one indeed, I've never seen anything like it. :)
