well I'm not trying to downplay this situation but that wound isn't really that bad. It looks like a mere pinprick of a wound and it will likely sort itself out. You are very kind to be looking after it as much as you do though and this is great.

If you have a chance and the cat lets you touch it, check on it every now and then and make sure that this wound doesn't end up getting infected. Cats and dogs are great at cleaning all wounds except for ones on their head and if they can't clean it, it can become infected or infested with parasites.
