FLORES AMARILLAS 21 de Marzo
Happy and blessed day Hive friends. I hope you are well and enjoying good health. Today, March 21, spring begins in some countries in the northern hemisphere. In my country we do not have these marked seasons, but when I was living in Peru, I had the joy of appreciating the change in climate with each season. My favorite season is spring, which begins on September 21 in countries in the southern hemisphere like Peru.
Sin embargo, el 21 de Marzo del año pasado mi hija me regaló una flor amarilla hecha de papel y me comentó que esta era una tendencia juvenil que se originó por una referencia de una novela argentina llamada "Floricienta", en la que la protagonista anhela recibir flores de color amarillo de manos de su amado.
In recent years I have been seeing on social networks a custom of giving yellow flowers on the day that spring begins. I found this custom very cute, but I had no idea where this trend came from. I just assumed it had to do with how pretty the flowers get this season.
However, on March 21 of last year my daughter gave me a yellow flower made of paper and told me that this was a youth trend that originated from a reference to an Argentine novel called "Floricienta", in which the protagonist longs for receive yellow flowers from the hands of your loved one.
Para este año mi intención era tejer diferentes tipos de flores amarillas para regalar a mis seres queridos, sin embargo, no he podido llevarlo a cabo, porque ya no estoy tejiendo con tanta frecuencia como antes.
Pero recordé que tengo muchas fotos hermosas de flores amarillas que tomé mientras viví en la ciudad de Lima y he decidido hacer unas lindas postales digitales para enviarles a mis familiares y amigos más queridos.

Actually, I don't know the soap opera, but the tradition that has been generated as a result of this story seems very beautiful to me. According to what I have seen, flowers are not only given to the couple, but also to loved ones and close friends.
For this year my intention was to knit different types of yellow flowers to give to my loved ones, however, I have not been able to carry it out, because I am no longer knitting as frequently as before.
But I remembered that I have many beautiful photos of yellow flowers that I took while I lived in the city of Lima and I have decided to make some nice digital postcards to send to my dearest family and friends.
Today I share with you some of these images in this publication.
I took all these photos in the gardens of the urbanization where I had my residence. They are a pleasant reminder of how beautiful nature is and that life blooms every day not just in spring. Thank you all for reading, greetings and blessings.
