"CIUDAD" Mural al estilo mosaico en Lecherías.

Los murales se han vuelto una excelente alternativa para rescatar y embellecer espacios en las ciudades. Lo que antes podía ser mal visto, hoy se considera un verdadero arte que aporta mucha estética al paisajismo. Ahora es agradable ver como el arte hace parte de las paredes de las principales calles y avenidas de las ciudades modernas. Tal es el caso de “Lecherías” ciudad ubicada en el Estado Anzoategui, al oriente de Venezuela. En uno de mis visitas a esta linda ciudad pude apreciar este enorme e interesante mural llamado “Ciudad”, el cual está ubicado en la avenida Libertad. El lugar donde se realizó este mural era un lugar que solía ser usado como basurero, las personas evitaban caminar por el lugar debido a lo feo y desagradable que podía ser.

Murals have become an excellent alternative to rescue and beautify spaces in cities. What once could be frowned upon, today is considered a true art that brings a lot of aesthetics to landscaping. Now it is pleasant to see how art is part of the walls of the main streets and avenues of modern cities. Such is the case of "Lecherías", a city located in the State of Anzoátegui, in eastern Venezuela. In one of my visits to this beautiful city I was able to appreciate this huge and interesting mural called "City", which is located on Libertad Avenue. The place where this mural was made was a place that used to be used as a garbage dump, people avoided walking around the place because of how ugly and unpleasant it could be.

Según pude leer en un artículo del Diario digital [El Mercurio web.com] (: https://elmercurioweb.com/archivo-noticias/2014/9/8/de-basura-a-obras-de-arte) Esta idea de la elaboración de murales como estrategia para rescatar espacios públicos, surge como gracias a la iniciativa de FADA (Fundación Amigos Del Ambiente) y Fundaidentidad de la mano con la alcaldía del municipio Urbaneja. Los autores de esta obra con estilo Mosaico son dos estudiantes de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Oriente Jackeline Hernández y Adán Guevara. Ellos señalan que elaborar el mural les tomó 5 semanas y que el mismo fue realizado con materiales de desecho de construcción como cerámica, espejo y vidrio que donaron las empresas del sector.

According to an article in the digital newspaper [El Mercurio web.com] (: https://elmercurioweb.com/archivo-noticias/2014/9/8/de-basura-a-obras-de-arte) This idea of the elaboration of murals as a strategy to rescue public spaces, arises thanks to the initiative of FADA (Fundación Amigos Del Ambiente) and Fundaidentidad together with the Mayor's Office of the municipality of Urbaneja. The authors of this mosaic-style work are two architecture students from the Universidad de Oriente, Jackeline Hernández and Adán Guevara. They point out that it took them 5 weeks to create the mural and that it was made with construction waste materials such as ceramics, mirrors and glass donated by companies in the sector.

Lo que más me gustó de esta obra es la armonía que lograron al utilizar estos materiales de reciclaje, formando imágenes de personas e incluso animales que representan las personas que hacen vida en esta ciudad. Mis imágenes favoritas son: el señor anciano con su bastón y los corredores. Lo que antes era un lugar lleno de basura se ha convertido en un espacio hermoso donde se puede disfrutar de un lindo paseo y aprovechar las imágenes para tomar unas bonitas fotos.

What I liked most about this work is the harmony achieved by using these recycled materials, forming images of people and even animals that represent the people who make life in this city. My favorite images are: the old man with his cane and the runners. What used to be a place full of garbage has become a beautiful space where you can enjoy a nice walk and take advantage of the images to take some nice pictures.
