Wednesdate With My Daughter: Vietnamese Food, Walking To Town And Simplest Moments Together.

After I finished work yesterday, I messaged my daughter that we will go to the town. I sent her a message: We will meet together at the bus stop and you need to prepare. We will catch the next bus going to town. Don't be late"

And she replied: "Yes, Mama". It's just the two of us because my husband is traveling.

Then we finally met and I asked her "You're hungry? Of course she says a big YES. And just like that, we will have our dinner at a Vietnamese Restaurant. It's a good choice, their food is delicious and offers an "eat all you can" buffet for just 7 euros.

Aya and I love food and sharing meals together. Eating outside is our way of bonding together. I'm always happy that we spend time together.

We wait for the next bus to come to the town. The weather was beautiful, just like my daughter. I always tell Aya that you are beautiful. And I'm a proud mom of my morena girl. I quickly pulled out my mobile to capture Aya's charm to treasure forever.

-On our way to the restaurant.-

As soon as we arrived in town, we headed straight toward the Vietnamese Restaurant. And just a few steps away, we already smell from the outside of the restaurant the freshly cooked dishes made us hungry.

In the 7 euros "Eat All You Can" meal they served noodles, spring rolls, fresh vegetables and fruits, soup, sushi, our favorite and more delicious food. We were both excited and quickly looked for available tables and chairs. Then we got our own plates and tried different dishes they served.

I really love watching her reactions when she eats. Aya’s food lit up and while eating we were also chatting. Eating was not just the best part but enjoying the experience together.

We had conversations and always a mix like simple stories-anything.I shared my own day at work and I told her it's always the same. Just work and earn for our living. I asked her about her plans but still thinking about it. But for now, everything is ok and I reminded her that there is no need to rush and you can figure it out soon. Aya has plenty of time to dream and discover her path.

I want her to know we’ll always be here to support whatever her decision in life. As long as it's good for her.

Yesterday,like there was no rush and no stress—just us simply enjoying each other’s company. I love most of the simple moments. I don't need to plan in advance. By simply eating outside we have time to bond together in most ordinary places.

When we finished our meal, our tummy was full we're both happy. We still have one hour for our next bus but instead of going home.

I asked her if it was ok to walk around the main square. And she replied "Yes, Mama" So we were both happy walking around the square. It was 6:30 PM but still the sun was still up. Our small town wasn’t too busy, we walked, chatted and sat on the bench.

We were heading home, going to the bus station , walking together, holding hands and happily.By the time we were finally at home, I realized no matter how busy I am and tired, I promise I will make time for her. It's about our connection as mom and daughter.

The best memories don’t need a big budget and they’re found in ordinary days like eating outside together and spending time with the ones we love.
This simple Wednesdate which cost only 7 euros at a restaurant was priceless. Looking forward to more of these simple bonding.

In the end, happiness is simple: being present, making memories from ordinary days and cherishing the bond we share.
