The Dentist Plan Failed: But Our Fridate Bonding Leads To The Best Memories-Just Laughter, Stories, Hot Chocolate, Tripl's With My Girl.

Hello Friday! And the magic is real and weekend mode is activated. The weekend we were all waiting for because it whispers promises of a family bonding and relaxing weekend. Yesterday morning, I had an early undertime from work. My plan after work was to pick up Aya from school and take her to the dentist. It sounded easy enough right but I will tell you what happened yesterday.

Once I wrapped up my work, my husband picked me up and our next stop was Aya’s school. The morning's rain turned into a windy, brisk and cold weather. And thanks to my coat for keeping me warm. But the wind brushed against my face and hair.

The magnificent church of St. Andrew’s was visible.

We arrived at her school at 11:30 AM and my husband headed straight back to work. Aya was done with her canteen lunch. They served nutritious food with fruits too. If I give her money and for sure always eat always. And suddenly I saw her running my way. Her smile was enough to brighten up my day.

We still have two more hours before her appointment. So I asked her, do you want to grab some warm drinks? And without hesitation, she said to Viking mama with a hot chocolate drink.

Then, we went to our favorite place. The lady welcomed us and says “dve horúce čokolády” means two hot chocolates.

The lady prepared our drinks and sat down. While waiting for our drinks we took some snaps together. And Aya started to tell what happened at school. Her classmate and friend got injured and stayed at home for months due to a broken bone, a test in Math and she got A+ and more.

Our order arrived, sipping slowly and enjoying our hot choco in the cold weather. When we finished our drinks, we started our walk toward the dentist.

The wind was so strong and even taking photos was so hard because it blew our hair.

When we finally arrived, Aya tried to open the door and it was closed. And she said to mama every Friday the schedule is until 13:00. And we went there around 13:45 pm. And opened my bag and checked her card. OMG! It's my mistake and I said sorry to her. Aya’s schedule for this coming Monday. I couldn’t help but laugh at myself and really last week was so busy. I forgot to check her schedule again.

To cheer her up, I decided we'd go to Tripl's and wait there until Tato picked us up. It was our leg work, walking. We walked and talked together until we arrived at Tripl’s. We fell in line and ordered our food.

As we ate, we continued talking together and we saw our friend, talked for a minute and she just bought take away. We took our sweet time, enjoying our food and making the most of the time together.
By the time we finished, we just sat there and waited for my husband to call.

Fast forward, we came to us and told what happened. He laughed at us and asked why I did not check the date. But I was all ok. Monday is my day off and we will go together to her dentist.

It's my mistake that turned into something better. Our Friday afternoon was spent together full of warmth, laughter, love and shared hot chocolate and Tripl’s. Plans don’t go the way we expect but for me unexpected things happened. And I will keep things light and create new memories.
