Remembering Our Loved Ones: A Night of Candles, Flowers and Prayers.

Yesterday, we visited the cemetery. It is a time when families come together to remember and honor our departed loved ones.
Before going to the town, my husband prepared the things we needed like the chrysanthemum flower, candles and a match. The autumn weather was so stunning. Imagine 21 degrees Celcius, the sun was shining bright and we were thrilled to hit the town and do some walking.

When we arrived, we spent the afternoon exploring by foot in the town and we enjoyed the day. Then we stopped for a coffee break, when we finished our drinks and it was 4 pm we went to the cemetery.

And it was time to visit the cemetery, it was a place of quiet reflection. The moment the sun disappeared, the graveyard wrapped in an unexpected serenity washed over the grounds. Families and friends coming together to offer candles, blooms, and moments of silence. It was comforting to witness-from the very young to the elderly and united in their act of remembrance. A tradition for the love we share and memories we keep.

We were surrounded by colorful and rich fragrance of chrysanthemums flowers, the sound of the leaves and murmur of prayers. The cemetery’s transformation when the sun disappeared. And it was more of sky full of fallen stars that we experienced a profound peace. We lit every candle symbolized a personal tribute and sign of enduring love.

The soft glow illuminated the gravestones, casting the warm gentle shadows on the flowers. And creating a solemn yet beautiful sight.

We went to the tall pillar topped with a cross. This place serves a special place where flowers and candles offered for loved ones who are far away or whose not resting here in the cemetery. And I'm far from my hometown and I offered prayer for my departed loved ones-peace and guidance in our lives. And praying for those who are forgotten and without their families here.

After that, we stroll around the cemetery. There's a small chapel or shrine with a Peita sculpture, depicting the Virgin Mary holding the body of the dead Jesus Christ in her arms.

Another striking memorial in the cemetery in a dome like metal, at the center of the cemetery. , white marble statue of a woman.

A stone statue of a woman, she was a silent watcher like guarding the graveyard.

One of the statues stands tall, with the large wings and a hand gesture of prayer. We noticed the thin crescent moon, like watching over the memorial lights.

Old Graveyard.
All Souls' Day, is simple acts of devotion. And we keep our loved ones memories alive through lighting a candle, offering a flowers and prayer.
It was time to go home, we said our final goodbyes. Until next time, our departed loved ones.
