Our Wild Wild West Family Experience In HenryxCity, Hungary: Our Wild Summer Journey To Remember.

Hello @WorldMappin Community! I’m thrilled to share our amazing family adventures from July 2024. We visited the theme park and imaginative world of HenryxCity.

I love traveling and one of my dreams is stepping into a real life wild wild west experience. To it's dusty roads, wooden saloons, cowboys staff wearing their boots and hats and even sheriff's office.

Last summer, we didn't need to travel all the way from the United States to experience it. We just went to Hungary, it's a one hour drive to HenryxCity. Captures the essence of Wild West to life.

It is located at 2858 Császár, Kossuth Lajos Street 1, Hungary. HenryxCity offers an authentic Western experience. It's not just a themed amusement park. It offers more than that, in a Western Word. It gives us a unique blend of entertainment and immersion. My husband drove all the way from Patince and we crossed into Hungary. It was a drive in our neighbor country and we were excited for our adventure.

From the moment we arrived, there were lots of students and buses. It's the end of students tábor or camp in English. The place is not just for attractions. Henryx Western City is the ideal venue for summer camp or any celebrations. But its was all ok because their going home already. From the moment we walk through the entrance, we're transported to the American Wild West Century. A large wooden arch welcomed us with a display “Welcome Amigo."

It was our first time visiting the place and we heard the Western music background around the place. The staff dressed as cowboys and cowgirls . Their Sheriff's too and from the start doing their job to amazed us were in a Western World.

It's not just about the staff where I was amazed but also the attention to details from its rustic wooden buildings, dusty streets. Don't wear white shoes, it will be dusty. The place creates a wonderful experience that feels incredibly believable.

First thing we did, we explored the area. It was a time capsule into the Western World. While waiting for the main event was the live cowboys show. The exhibits bring us an opportunity to gain insight into the culture and history of the Wild West. They show the glimpse of daily lives, photos, weapons and other Indian weapons. Another thing in HenryxCity was the vintage cars and carriages. It was the kind of place that brings to life. It was our step into Western life and experience in an interactive way.

But the more exciting part was the bull ride. Aya needed to wait for her turn and I saw how excited she was. For sure will test someone's skills on a mechanical bull. but it's all ok because she wants to experience how to be a cowgirl. It's not just one ride but 3 rides for her. The place is a perfect spot for family and friends adventures. No wonder there are school activities and summer camps in HenryxCity.

After the bull ride experience, Aya was hungry. There was a restaurant and we experienced the taste of a Western-Style food. But before that, we need to change the Hungarian forint to a Western Style money. They have their own bank. And it was a big paper of money. Every time we need to buy something, we will use their money. The dining area was a Western style setting and the food was also deliciuos.

After our delicious snack, we continued exploring the area and then we spotted the jail. Then we had to go in and experience what it's like to be a prisoner. Each one of us needed to go. Inside a tiny room with iron bars. Tato loves to prank Aya. Dad told Aya she will go first inside the jail. Yes, she wants to try but then Tato told her she’d be stuck for three hours. Aya’s eyes widened and she was afraid. Started to scream and ask for help. Eventually, I told her it was Dad’s plan and told her it was a prank.

The moment we were waiting for was the live Wild West to life. At HenryxCity they were talented performers with their hilarious tactics. Even though we didn’t understand the language because it was Hungarian. While they were acting, my husband translated it to us with Aya. The performers facial expressions and actions were very impressive and we were laughing out loud. And despite the language was different, Aya and I we found ourselves giggling and it was a memorable experience for us. The awesome performances feature the cowboy stunts, lasso tricks, staged gunfights, humorous sketches and including the audience in the live performances, especially the kids.

After the show, we hopped on the train ride. It was our journey around the area. I thought it was just an ordinary ride but still the show must go on. It was the continuation of their performance in the gold mining set. We passed through the different scenes. And become even more believable.
And it was an incredible finale to wrap our visit in HenryxCity. Forever our adventure to the Wild West was incredible and we will always cherish forever.
