Our Peaceful Walk in Hungary’s Hills And The Nagy-kilátó Lookout Tower of Magyarnándor.

After our first trip to the peaceful, small and charming village of Chľaba. Our excitement and curiosity continues as we set for our next destination.

My husband decided we will see the alpacas. Seeing alpacas will be an amazing experience. We drove along the gentle roads, with the beautiful landscape shifted from fields to hills. When we arrived at the alpacas place, it was closed. There’s an announcement beside the tower that it's only for reservations and groups of people.

Our second trip was unaccomplished and allowed only for booking online. It was our unexpected visit that we didn't catch to see and standing there from afar, checking to see the alpacas but nothing. So I just took a few snaps of Aya then we continued our journey.

As he drove to our destination, we're already in Hungary . He has an idea that we will go for a walk. My husband knows more places to visit and we just say it's up to you.

We went to Northern Hungary, Nagy-kilátó, a lookout tower in the hills above Magyarnándor. When we arrived at the location, we found ourselves alone. The place is favorite spot for hiking enthusiasts and in certain months becomes a hunting zone. The Nagy-kilátó Tower was built in 2021, stands as a serene symbol of balance between nature and modern design and architecture. Visiting places like this is what we love, present in that moment — no rush, no noise, just the peaceful company of nature.

As you ascend its stairs and the quiet atmosphere was striking. The serene silence of the place was only broken by our voices. From our footsteps, the birds singing around us and the wind through the leaves. Since the path was very narrow and caution is mandatory. But Aya ignored my warning and just wanted to race. And eager to see who would reach the destination first. And turned it into a competition for her. I was so scared that my voice seemed to echoed and breaking the silence. On our way up, we noticed small resting areas with benches and tables.Like a resting spot designed for travelers.

As we climbed higher revealed a new layer of beauty below us, the view grew more mesmerizing. When we finally reached the top felt magical, what are breathtaking view that we could see mountains rolling into the distance and valleys. The stillness at the top felt surreal with the air was cool and clear and the mountain breeze carried a sense of peace. We just stand there, breathe deeply, taking in the view and feel grateful.

Visiting the Nagy-kilátó tower is open to all visitors and completely free of charge. Just to make sure to pack your drinks and light snacks which makes a little picnic. Because there are no nearby shops in the area. Its a family-friendly place but the children's should be supervised especially on the stairs.

As we walked down from the tower of Nagy-kilátó, we decided to continue our exploration around the tower.

It was one of those simple moments that felt magical, kids ran and laughter echoing through the filed was a lovely moment. Our trip wasn't grand or fancy- just nature and the four of us in the forest. The air felt refreshingly cool and clean, surrounded by the tall trees that added calm moment.

Sometimes, the unplanned moments, the simple, unexpected ones often leave the biggest memories. 😍
