Our Malta Adventure Continues: A Quiet Afternoon at Għar Lapsi 🇲🇹🌊

Hello Travelers! 👋 How are you and I hope you're doing well. Welcome back to our Malta adventure.

Our Malta adventure surprised us with Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra. One of UNESCO megalithic temples that are even older than the pyramids is 5000 years old.

Standing there, it gives us chills. It was powerful and almost unreal. From the ancient temples, we headed down to the beautiful coastal area in the southern part of Malta, Għar Lapsi.

Għar Lapsi is another hidden gem in Malta. It is famous as a natural swimming pool and a top spot for snorkeling. The water was unreal-with clear turquoise tucked between rocks. The place makes it even more magical and gives so much character.

With so many beautiful spots around Malta. We couldn't wait to discover a different side of the island and experience something new. Táto says we will take more time to relax and swim.

As we made our way to Għar Lapsi, all I could say was that Malta has so many beautiful coastal places. I was already looking forward to seeing the sea. Malta has so many beautiful coastal places and every location carries its own magic.

Everything felt like a postcard.

When we finally arrived at Għar Lapsi, however, we had a little surprise. The area was closed. It was the second encounter and the place we wanted to visit was closed.

A little disappointed but we will make sure we have memories at Għar Lapsi. The place was stunning, a picturesque natural swimming pool and cove.

Expect the unexpected, not everything goes exactly according to plan. And the unexpected moments become part of the adventure.

Plans changed and we decided to eat in the restaurant named Dive Inn Café and Grill. And everything was changed and turned into our relaxing travel moments that we will remember.

As we entered the restaurant, kids were in a hurry even though the place was not full. The best part was the beautiful view from the restaurant. Now it all made sense. No wonder they were in a hurry.

We sat down, staff came and had the menu, ordered our lunch, and simply enjoyed the view in front of us. The view did it. The endless blue Mediterranean sea, rocky coastline had a better peaceful plan.

Aside from the beautiful view, the food at Dive Inn Café and Grill was affordable and delicious. Our order arrived and the smell of the food made us more hungry. To cool off from the hot weather, Aya wanted a big ice cream and made her feel comfortable.

Plans changed but this is part of traveling.
These simple moments I really love during our travels. I think we deserved to give ourselves time to slow down. We don't need to be rushing from one place to other tourist attractions. And spending time with my family, the one I love is already enough.

Hello Kabayan!

While enjoying the view, it was and it was not an hour. And it surprised me to hear the voice of my Kababayan and I was so happy. Meeting them made me feel at home. Some of the kitchen staff were Filipinos. I needed to have a conversation with them. Asking how life in Malta was, years they've been working here and just catching up things.

Our plan may not exactly go as we plan. But it became a beautiful memory from our Malta adventure. We have our own story to tell for our trip.

It was our most relaxing and peaceful trip, more than disappointing. Thank you Malta everywhere we went seemed to be something beautiful.
