Our Camp Sabros Story: Chasing Views and Good Vibes at Camp Sabros Family Trip.

Our last family trip in Kapatagan was to Camp Sambros. It was another refreshing escape that felt like a complete reset for the mind and body. Camp Sambros is nestled in the cool highlands, offered breathtaking views, the camp offered fresh mountain air and the place felt peaceful. Aside from its breathtaking view, We had been planning the trip and we want to give the kids an experience that they will never forget. There are fun outdoor experiences and a break from the urban noise.

While driving up the winding roads to Kapatagan and we could feel the welcome chill of the mountain air. The atmosphere instantly shifted like entering into a different world, a peaceful and serene sanctuary. Our journey was alive with the kids giggles, excitement, and road trip noise.

When we arrived at Camp Sambros, the strong wind started to blow around us. The trees moved from side to side like making them dance wildly. We could smell the air smelled fresh from nature-pine trees and wet grass. It may not have been a sunny day but cool wind was refreshing.

My daughter loves animals and one attraction in the camp was horse back hiding. We promised Aya and the kids that they could ride horses.

Their faces lit up with pure joy and hardly contain their excitement. It was part of the trip they have been looking forward. The moment they saw the open field and their eyes sparkled. And the open field swaying the wind.

I didn't see any horses around the area. And when I approached one staff member and unfortunately, we were told that horseback riding wasn’t allowed at the time. It was due to the weather and their disappointment was visible, but it didn’t last long. And I told them there's more next time and we will come back. And the place itself offered plenty of beauty to enjoy.

We took our time exploring the camp together, Rather than hurry and we savor every minute at the camp. Camp Sabros was filled with a calm, quiet escape and peaceful hideaway. With full of greenery, fresh mountain air that made our trip more special.

Even with the wind blowing, the kids didn’t mind the breeze at all and they just embraced the weather. The sound of their laughter echoed through the camp and making their excitement feel louder and pure. Aya was pretending that the wind flew her away.

The camp offered rustic charming cabins and each corner offering a perfect photo opportunity. The view of the mountains stretched endlessly and the view too stunning to look away from. The camp turned into their own park, they ran around the place and with their joyful noise mixing the sound of the wind.

My heart was overflowed with joy and seeing the kids laughter and smiles were simply contagious. I realized how peaceful and fulfilling the simple life is, just my family, a connection to nature, laughter make it more special.

There's an interesting discovery in the place, a rustic spot tucked away in the area. Instantly caught my attention the red vintage Volkswagen car. It was parked under a wooden shed and with some old signs and vintage memorabilia. It was like stepping into a classic era. Aside from that, the bar are decorated with license plates, cowboy hats and antique stuff. The atmosphere was even more nostalgic with an old jukebox.

We spent some time taking photos while documenting the pure joy of the moment.

While exploring the area, we heard the sound of pellets and we headed across to the area. Kids were so excited and sparked their adrenaline and wanted to try. Because they did not experience horseback riding and we gave the experience in the airsoft firing site. It was their first time and the staff gave us a quick orientation about handling the airsoft guns safely and we were suited up and ready to aim. Kids took turns firing the targets and cheering at each other's shots. Not all were bullseyes but still we cheered for them. We need more practice to get to hit the bullseye right away. It doesn't matter if it was not aimed as long as we have so much fun together.

After the fun and excitement at the Airsoft Firing Site, so we decided to take a break and enjoy some snacks before heading home. We have pizza, coffee and choco drinks for kids. Taking a moment to enjoy the food and the peaceful view before leaving.

They're fast asleep after a day of adventure but the joyful memories will certainly last a lifetime. The journey was defined by shared fun, adventure and a pure connection to nature. Our family moment was made every moment priceless.
