From Castello di Miramare to Pordenone: Quiet Streets and Charming Place: The Underrated Timeless Scene Of Pordenone, Italy.
This is continuation of our adventure in Italy. After exploring in a rainy day trip to the majestic Castello di Miramare, we continued our trip to Pordenone. Walking in the cobblestone streets under a soft gray sky and a peaceful and quiet place were like in the centuries in the past. Pordenone history lives where they preserved there architecture, traditions and people.
In the northeastern corner of Italy there is a place named Pordenone. A town that tourists overlooked and underrated. Pordenone is not like Venice and Milan where there are lots of tourists, especially in a peak season overcrowded city that sometimes you don't enjoy at all. The moment we arrived at Pordenone the ambiance gave us peace and magic. Unlike the busy cities, Pordenone invites us to slow down, enjoy the moment and just enjoy life.
Piazzetta San Marco .
The charming place Piazzetta San Marco was special about a European Town Square. In the heart of the square there's a beautiful classic fountain. It is the focal point in the vicinity of the buildings. The ambiance gives me an old world feel, with cobblestones in the ground. And a perfect place to Stroll around the place, small shops around, just sitting around in the cafeteria and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the town. Traditional balconies and windows tell more history of the place.
Palazzo Communale
Palazzo Communal (Town Hall) is one of Italy’s amazing old buildings. It's the town hall which is full of history. The building's brickwork has a reddish-brown color that creates an ancient feel. Its arches, columns, and tall bell tower stands proud. The building features a prominent tower with a clock and the EU, Italy and regional flags waving above the balcony. This tells us that this building is still very much alive and important today. The Palazzo Comunale is a building with many stories to tell. For example its historical architecture, serving in the center of the community.
We were walking through a charming Italian town and suddenly we saw a statue. My husband says it's II Pordenone in Pordenone, the famous artist.
Il Pordenone was an important painter for a long, long time ago. The town made a statue to honor him. It was made of bronze and the metal made it look classic. And of course I took a chance to have a photo of Pordenonese famous artists and local heroes of the town.
Pordenone (Friuli-Venezia Guilia-Italy) the place captures and timeless beauty , charming streets. I can see the details of the town's special architecture: arched walkways, pastel-hued buildings, the pretty balconies with railings. How beautiful to have that kind of balcony and drinking coffee in the morning and enjoying the quiet atmosphere. On the ground level of the building, not just by strolling around and also visitors can enjoy shopping.
Another amazing buildings that Pordenone has. It's the Palazzo Ricchieri.
The building was grand and today it houses the Civic Art Museum (Museo Civico d'Arte). It catches my attention to see how impressive and long the building is. Its warm painted and rustic colors which was yellow and orange that really stood out
Like I mentioned earlier, their buildings' arched windows and balconies with railings give an elegant feel.
The quiet town gives me the deepest impression. Everything was wonderful. And just around the corner was the Cathedral of St. Mark (Duomo di San Marco), another treasure. So stay tuned for our next journey.. Our Italy adventure doesn't stop here.
See yah guys.
