Hello fellow travelers!. Hope everyone is ok.

After our days of travel to Rijeka, Croatia. Kids and I know it's a regular trip going home. Were on the road, but the sky was already painted in gray and heavy clouds. My husband told me on the road, Mama , we will not go home. There’s one more place I want to take you.

I'm surprised but curious, then thinking where we will go and he told me his surprise, we will go to Italy.

I'm not prepared for anything, even kids dressed for anything more than a casual ride—shorts, slippers, a loose top, and a jacket to fight off the cold. I wasn’t prepared for another adventure, but maybe that was the beauty of it.

Eventually, the car slowed as we approached a breathtaking sight of Italy.

Fast Forward my husband says we were on our way to the stunning Castello di Miramare. And my anticipation of going there with every curve and the views were breathtaking. It's like a dream come true to reality. I just saw this on movies and now I know how it feels being on this road trip. There's magic passing by the tunnel.

Despite the rain, our journey still continues. Even the stormy sky gives us the highlights the of the road. The road curve beside the cliff and beautiful sea was stunning. Even in the rain theres magic on it.

It's a perfect panoramic view route. It was magical. My feeling and getting closer to Castello even gets more exciting. It's our rainy adventure to Castello.

Finally, there it was-Castello di Miramare. After the panoramic view route, we stepped into the castle. My husband was prepared, he had an umbrella. Even though we have it still windy. My husband and I will go outside. Kids they dont like to just stay in the car.

Walking under the rain, seeing the overview of the sea, it's just as beautiful as you imagine. Our perfect way to start our visit. As we walked through the castle gardens, the view was amazing. The path was lovely to walk. A magical greenery around us creates a natural archway .

Finally, we arrived at his surprise place: Castello di Miramare. It's a beautiful castle, something out like a fairytale. Even though it was raining heavily and the sky was gloomy. The place was unique and white stone walls stood out and it was timeless.

My husband took photos of me. The rain gets even heavier. Despite my unprepared outfit and the weather. The castle was grand and with its elegant towers, arched windows that's timeless beauty in the royal past.

We decided to go back inside the car and to our apartment we will stay in Italy. My husband says, we will come soon and that time the weather is good.

For me, it was a beautiful trip. Why? It's our own story of our adventure. The rain was not bad. It adds more mysterious charm and romance. I know it was not a typical romantic thing. But for me, it was. Seeing the beauty of the Castello in another way was magically beautiful.

Though soaked in wet and cold, I felt grateful for the experience. I must be ready for unexpected things to happen and to see the beauty of it. My husband says sorry to me, he wanted it to be perfect sunny day. But we cannot predict the weather. And I just said don't feel sorry and I'm so happy.

We laughed and ran to the car. He parked the car so far from the entrance because it was full already. But it was all ok. I loved only about the moment.

Our unexpected, imperfect, magical moment in Italy was amazing.

Unexpected things are always the best part of my experience in life.
