Aya's Last Adventure Before School: A Day Of Thrill, Speed and Happiness At Visegrádi Bobpálya And Quick Stop The Beauty of Visegrád, Hungary.

Before the new school year began, we decided to make the last weekend of August special. This all happened last year 2024 and we had our little trip that took us to Visegrádi Bobpálya in Hungary. A place known for its exciting bobsleigh rides, A destination where joy, speed, and thrills all came together on the track. For Aya, the ride was full of fun but also unforgettable.

The road to Visegrád was a picturesque path and each curve showed the opening to rolling hills and fresh views of lush countryside. Making our way through into the Hungarian countryside, we finally saw the Danube River, Europe’s longest river even from a distance.

When we arrived at the Visegradi Bobpalya the air was filled with the cheerful sound of riders on the track. And instantly Aya was shouting for happiness. The line was long to pay for tickets. Tato fell in line and we waited outside if everything was done. We both have 2 tickets with 6x turns on the track.

The Bobpalya in Hungarian word or bobsleigh in English, the track itself stretched along the hillside,glowing brightly and with carts zipping past as the driver controlled their speeds. When táto gave us our tickets, Aya’s eyes lit up the moment she had her ticket. Even if we have our tickets we need to wait for our turn.

The moment she was waiting for, ready for the ride of her life and her smile told me everything.Our first ride and we were together. The staff gave us instructions but I'm not sure if Aya was listening. That's why I decided we will be together on our first ride. Aya dont like it but as a mom I insisted because I will guide her. I know it's an easy ride but safety is all I wanted for her in the bobsleigh. Especially when controlling the speed and I gave her a reminder like "Control is the key, you have to remember “someone was in front of you" and "Remember the brake." As her mom, the number one priority was making sure she was safe and sound while enjoying.

We hopped into our cart and our hands ready on the brake lever. And once the attendant gave us that final push and we were ready for the ride of her life. She was nothing but happy screams and laughter. I’m also excited and nervous too. But she's braver than me. And telling me “Faster Mama! Don’t be afraid there's a break. The thrill was undeniable and we took the curves we experienced that were beyond happiness.

My husband was happily cheering for us from the sidelines, as we were speeding down on the bobsleigh track, Seeing us happy was what made him happy too. He always told us, he wants to give us memories that we can hold onto FOREVER.

Aya and I have six rides each while I only took two. Our two rides together were unforgettable. Because I want her to have more experience and I saw she's so happy. I gave her my 4 chances on the track. I want to watch her riding a bobsleigh, hear her screaming for joy and capture those beautiful moments.

After my turn was finished, Aya was ready to go on her own. She rode solo and it was just a memorable ride. My husband and I stood nearby and were cheering and happy for her. Our Aya’s fearlessness and thrill came back again and again.

Even with just two turns on the bobsled, I was so content and it filled my heart with so much happiness by giving her a chance to enjoy the thrill before the school starts again.

Of course, it was not enough for Aya to ask more but we need to go home. Aya couldn’t stop talking about driving alone. Sometimes she went fast and sometimes not because someone in front of her was so slow. And she feels sad about it and she wants more thrill and speed.

Before heading home, my husband decided we made a quick visit but a memorable stop in Visegrád, Hungary. And I can say it was the perfect ending to our fun and thrilling adventure. And the view from below was stunning and for a quiet moment to take in the beauty of the Danube Bend. The Danube River scene unfolded like a painted canvas, endless and serene. Below us, the rooftops of Visegrád’s houses and green hills on both sides. Our stop to Visegrád was like nature’s masterpiece and the Danube River is a testament to centuries of history.

We were there for just a little while but the experience felt like a complete gift. How beautiful this part of Hungary is. We returned home with a perfect blend of joy of adventure but also the stunning landscape and calm and deep sense of peace of nature’s breathtaking beauty.

It was a memory we will treasure forever and a beautiful moment before school started again. Aya’s happiness was the highlight of the trip, creating moments and our adventures. It was our thrill, speed, love, adventure and family time.
