A Peaceful Sunday Outdoors In Nature’s Silence In Kravany nad Dunajom.

Last Saturday, I asked my husband if we will go on walking because of the beautiful weather we have this weekend.

Of course, he loved the idea.I fell asleep that afternoon and he chose not to disturb my sleep.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning and my husband told me we would go walking that day. And I said yes. I had my breakfast. Aya woke up early and did her homework. Zoe is making her project. Only Aya, my husband and I will go outside for a walk.

Sunday greeted us with a calm sky and gentle sunlight, a perfect day that invites us to step outside after a long winter days.

Just breathe, walk and enjoy the beautiful day. Our kind of weekend that's no need to rush and it's all about family time.

So I'm expecting we will go to the Danube River, which is a walking distance from our home. But my husband got his key and I asked where we will go. He said, you want to go to the Danube. Of course, it's a yes and we just walked.

The Danube River is the longest river and we went to different places, Kravany na Dunajom.

When we arrived at our place, the wide river reflected the soft and beautiful sky. Across the shore, a slope of hills was dotted with houses and trees. And the place was so peaceful and a suburban backdrop.

Near the river, an elevated path for walking and cyclists. The air was cool, the silence was comforting and everything felt peaceful. It was a simple moment and we felt so grateful.

As we continued, we came across the Smith Chaplet or Smidt kápolna. It is a modern and small chapel built with bricks and a glass roof extension.

⛪Virgin Mary Church in Kravany nad Dunajom.

Another church a few steps near the abandoned building named Virgin Mary in Kravany nad Dunajom. A Roman Catholic church and situated on a slight elevation on the banks of the river.

The bell tower is separate from the main church structure.

Next thing we did was go up to the tower named Vyhliadková veža Kravany nad Dunajom (Kravany nad Dunajom Observation Tower) in Slovakia. Its an observation tower that offers beautiful views of the Danube River. Aya was so thrilled and loves this kind of adventure.

The lookout tower architecture is a perfect design that blends in industrial durability with organic aesthetics.

The foundation of the tower is made of concrete solid base that provides stability. While elevating the wood away from ground-level moisture, ensuring longevity.

Aya climbed first and the spiral stairs left my head spinning. My husband was behind me and holding our dog. Then Aya reaches the top and she's shouting that she came first.

To be honest, my legs were shaking and I was really scared. When I reached the top, my heart started racing, the wind was strong and the tower moved slightly. And I felt like I'm on the top of the jelly. It was a terrifyingly beautiful moment.

We continued walking around the place and enjoying every corner we passed. I couldn’t help but capture photos of my beautiful daughter Aya.

Our ordinary walk means something special. These kind of simple moments reminded me that happiness often lives in the simplest things. Our peaceful walk, shared time together and love felt in quiet moments. It was a beautiful Sunday morning that I'll always be grateful for.
