Waiting for a flood that never arrived

What a day it was yesterday ..

We were waiting for very intense weather, and much rain .. we were told to stay alert.

If you have been following me for some time, you may have seen my posts in November 2020 when our house and all our area had flooded.
It was such a terrible thing to experience...... The only good thing was that there were no loss of human lives

So yesterday from the morning we were all going back and forth to the river. We were trying to see if it would flood again...

In the morning, due to the very heavy rain, there was a power cut - and after a while, we also had no internet access.

This was until late evening .. so I just took some shots and I was lucky to be on time for my LPUD

And please read below my two cents advice

Every since I was driving, I remember myself saying .. "If it will rain, we will have to reschedule"
I prefer staying at home when the weather is bad ..
Yesterday, 2 people lost their lives :( they were in a car that got carried away by the rain and the flooded river (at an area near where I live)
Please, please always be safe .. safety first and then everything else..
