Testing out exhverse and lieu.city for creating a free online exhibition
I am looking for a space to host an online exhibition and as I was checking out whats new, I saw these two options that have a free package and I wanted to explore.
One is Lieu City and the other one is brand new, called Exverse

Both of them have a free space, so we will see which one will be best to use.

Signing up seems pretty straightforward, however i could not make it work with any other mail so I used a gmail to get in
I was already ready to create my first gallery within a few seconds using exverse, so all I got to do is choose a template
For starting with lieu.city, i need to visit this page https://lieu.city/operator-signup?lang=en&plan=free and add an operator name
I see that exhverse seems much easier to use, lieu is more sophisticated with many more options

I tried to create a test exhibition with lieu.city and honestly, I could not make it work. Also, one of the issues I see is that to see an exhibition, the user needs to be signed in, this is not so nice. I will get back to this soon, to see if there are issues with my connectivity and thus the reason for the many errors where mine and not the platforms.
On the other hand, exhverse is very easy, but you need to make sure that any photo you upload is less than 2 MB and less than 1024 px (so you need to estimate some time fixing those data)

Here you can see my first photo in my first exhibition there
You will not see much there at this moment, but you will get the feeling of how easy it is to navigate

In the past I had created an exhibition at artsteps, but it has changed to metasteps and it will not be free any more...
You can see it here: https://www.artsteps.com/view/68318678848e9e985f4a9b85 I am not sure how long it shall remain published
Are you aware of other online exhibition platforms?
Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for supporting and for reading!
That is a lovely photograph ... if you had the platform full I'm sure I could wander it for hours...
Thanks so much!!
How interesting—I went to see your work. I actually came across something like this once in a painting course that featured a virtual gallery; it allowed me to view exhibited paintings via 360-degree tours of museums like the Louvre.
Hey, this is very interesting! Digital art can really bring more people from around the world closer to each other. Thanks for coming by!
Digital exhibitions are growing and so does digital art. And as long as they trigger an emotion in the human beings, I don't mind it.
