Today I thought I should post some nice nature images and ask for your opinion on a dilemma (it is not about me, but it is in my thoughts)

I like watching snails
They are so calm, so zen
I often see them on the street so I try to take them and leave them on other more safe places

When I took the photo, I noticed this big hole, so I checked with AI and found out the below

That “little hole” you’re seeing on the side of the snail’s body (just behind the head, near the front of the shell opening) is completely normal, it’s called the pneumostome.

In land snails like this land snail, the pneumostome acts as a breathing pore. Instead of lungs like mammals, they have a simple lung cavity, and this opening lets air move in and out.

A few interesting details:

• It opens and closes rhythmically, you might even catch it moving if you watch closely.
• It helps the snail control moisture loss, which is crucial for survival.
• Its position on the right side of the body is typical for most common land snails.

And if you are too lazy to read, it’s basically the snail’s version of a nostril 🙂

These days have been a bit cold
Historically it is already the coldest days of May in the last many years

Maybe in a few days, when we will have 30 Degrees, we will miss the cold rain

For the time being I am ok with this weather
I think nature needs it

Imagine this

You have a job that does not pay much (not enough for you to make the month) and gives no perspective or possibilities for a raise or growth. Sometimes you work too much and sometimes you may find some free time, it depends

You make an effort for another job that has a 40% greater salary, but it requires different shifts of 8 hours, 5 days a week.

In the second job, there could potentially be possibilities for something better, but you don’t know for sure

How would you choose which one is right for you?
