📍Sfentili is a small, now abandoned village in Crete. It became known as the “ghost village” because it lies next to the Aposelemis Dam. When the reservoir fills, the rising water often floods parts of the village, sometimes covering it completely, sometimes revealing it again when water levels drop. This cycle has left the houses and streets half-submerged, creating a haunting sight and is a reminder of how fragile and precious life is

A few weeks ago i decided to participate to a photo contest
of a brand that makes tea and other beverages

They asked the creators for images about earth, air, sun, water

The first prize is a trip and then some photo lessons

The above is one of the image I participated with

I want also to send a message of awareness but also of hope
