Photo Saturday - Distant views of my village

avatar

A few days ago I decided to try walking on a road that I had never walked before. And guess what!

I saw my village from a brand new angle. Of course I decided to take a few shots and share them with you.

My village has two parts actually. The part near the sea (where I live in) and the part that is built on a hill.

(This is the real "village", the original one, what was first built)

If you remember, I was not born here. I moved here a few years ago.
And guess what. I ve never visited that side of the village yet.

I will try to do it next week so expect many more photos!

These are some cute bugs I found during one of my walks. I wanted to touch them so much! Look at how fluffy they look like!

I am not so good in photographing food, but I want to try out some techniques in the future.
Today I was experiencing how to put the spaghetti on the plate, how to grate parmesan flakes etc...

This is supposed to be a 'Spaghetti Bolognese' recipe (my own creation)

Would you have any tips on how you like it?
Or, if you are Italian, please tell me how you prepare and eat it!

Before I end this post, I wanted to share with you that I visited and logged back in Appics again today, after a whole two months.

Are you there? Do you use the app often?

Do you think anything changed?
I may prepare a post about it if I see that you want to know more..

I keep wondering why it did not migrate to hive blockchain back then.......anyways, have a great weekend and see you soon!!

I have found that the best way to get to know a place is to walk it. I'm not Italian, but I eat spaghetti bolognese with a fork :-)

Where were you living before you moved to your village? In another village? I didn't realise you'd moved so recently but then I've been absent from blogging for a few years.

Funnily enough you came up in conversation today when I was opening the front door. john thought pitcure on the keyring was of Malta. The building does look very similar to one you would find there.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. 😍

Hey Gillian, always a pleasure when you visit my posts!
I was born in a city, moved for a few years, then moved back to my city, and for the past several years I moved to this village (20 minutes from my city)
It's been a complicated life with lots of moving around and changing of homes :)
Hope you are very well!

I moved around a lot, as a young adult, until I landed here a couple of decades again.

If I lived in Greece I think I'd move all over the place. You have so many beautiful options. 😍

I still like village life more than city life because everything is more special and natural there.
