New homeless kitten bursting in our lives

The day started as usual with work and stuff.
It was morning, I had my strong and black coffee and after a few hours I decided to talk to my friend on the phone for a little bit and take a break.

We were talking outside (because my signal is not good in my home) when I heard a silent meaw

I searched but did not find anyone, only a farmer who has a small field in the neighborhood.

I asked him, did you hear that? Is there a kitten nearby?
He said yes, I found it on the road and brought it here. I gave it milk, water and keep it in this paper box.

I asked, great! So, are you taking it home with you?

He said, no. I will leave it here in the box so that it does not get cold at night.

I asked him to see the cat and it was such a small baby...
I asked if I can take it home.. and he reluctantly said yes.

So I did.

When I brought him home, his voice was so loud!!!
I have him milk, and my boubou came to see what was going on!

Let me remind you that she is neutered.

She immediately started making strange noises... And started licking the baby.

She even tried to move it from me. At first I was afraid when I saw her biting the neck of the baby, but all she wanted was to take him to a safe place (my couch) :)

The baby is so cute and has so small ears!
I am not sure if this is due to his young age or if it is a different cat species...

I will keep you updated and at the moment as a new mama, I really got a ton of things to do and he will not allow me to as he keeps crying if I dont feed or hold him when he sleeps....

I have many things to do, to work, to go to places ... and I really dont know how to handle this.
If I put him on a cage he cries...

What to do?
What would you do?

The ears are like this because he or she is young, looking at the picture I would say he is 15 days... I used to have a big carton and let mine in, with a blanket, he cries because he is small and needs the contact to sleep... He probably can't even pee by himself, you will have to do it until he learns, unless your car goes that for him

You should do a visit to the vet tough, to check worms and such and have some hints

That's mine at 23 days old, ears are up so as I said yours is younger... I highly recommend a vet check, I couldn't save her without vet hints and checks

Thank you so much for this info, yes you are right. He may be so young .. he cannot pee by himself, my cat does it or I do it rubbing his belly

Thanks, I have grow up her since day of her birth so I'm kinda expert 😅 11 years now

You have done a very good deed by bringing him here. You will take good care of him. And the good thing is that you have thought before that your cat will not harm him because in many places we see that they try to harm each other, but now they have become friends and will live together.

I believe that it is a gradual process and with time, the cat will get used to you and the environment

You're a kind hearted lady bringing that cat home❤️ There's also a stranger cat who keeps coming in our home she doesn't have a permanent home so I just kept feeding here whenever she comes,as my kid also already loved her,my kid would always tell me when the cat comes...That one you have is still a baby though she seems looking for a momma🥺thanks for your other cat's company too. I think you should just give time till she becomes independent allow her to be loud and meow till she get used to it. At least you still give time to baby her and feed her❤️
