Picknick im Grünen / Picnic in the countryside

Hallo zusammen,

die letzten Tage war es bei uns sehr sonnig und warm. Da bot sich eine kleine Fahrradtour an die Weser an.

Hello everyone,
the last few days have been very sunny and warm. So we decided to take a little bike ride to the Weser.

Wir haben ein schönes Plätzchen mit Blick auf das Wasser und auch mit Schatten gefunden und unsere Picknickdecke ausgebreitet.

We found a nice spot with a view of the water and also with shade and spread out our picnic blanket.

Wenn gerade keine Jet Ski's oder Motorboote vorbeisausten, war das Wasser heute ganz ruhig und bot den Pflanzen einen großen Spiegel.

When there were no jet skis or motorboats whizzing by, the water was very calm today and provided a great mirror for the plants.

Ein schöner Ort, um ein paar Steine ins kühle Nass zu werfen und seinem Sohn beizubringen, die Steine über die Wasseroberfläche flitschen zu lassen. Ich bin darin zugegebenermaßen leider nicht sehr gut... da stellt sich mein Mann schon wesentlich besser an. Aber ab und an schaffe auch ich es, dass sich der Stein noch 1-2 Mal vom Wasser abhebt und weiterfliegt ;)

A nice place to throw a few stones into the cool water and teach your son to let the stones skim across the surface. Unfortunately, I have to admit that I'm not very good at this... my husband is much better at it. But every now and then, even I manage to get the stone to lift off the water 1-2 times and fly on ;)

Wir ließen es uns mit einem Gläschen Rose Wein gut gehen und genossen die Ruhe in der Natur. An diesem Platz kommen nicht sehr viele Menschen vorbei, da er etwas abseits des Haupt-Radweges liegt. Bei all dem Trubel im Alltag genieße ich solche menschenleeren ruhigen Orte sehr. Es wird gefühlt immer schwieriger, Plätze zu finden, an dem es keine Menschenansammlungen gibt.

We enjoyed a glass of Rose wine and the peace and quiet of nature. Not many people pass by this place, as it is a little off the main cycle path. With all the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I really enjoy such deserted quiet places. It feels more and more difficult to find places where there are no crowds.

An ein paar leckere Snacks haben wir natürlich auch gedacht ;)

Of course we also thought of some delicious snacks ;)

Auf dem Weg zurück zu unseren Fahrrädern habe ich diese interessante Pflanze entdeckt. Von weitem recht unscheinbar, aber wenn man näher herangeht...

On the way back to our bikes I discovered this interesting plant. Quite inconspicuous from a distance, but when you get closer...

... entdeckt man diese stacheligen Knospen mit violetten Blütenansätzen.

... um eine wildwachsende Distelart handelt, und zwar um die Art "Arctium tomentosum" oder auch Filzklette genannt.

Diese schönen Mohnblüten verzierten den Wegesrand auf unserem Rückweg.

These beautiful poppies decorated the roadside on our way back.

Aus braunen Berglinsen und allerlei frischem Gemüse habe ich dann noch einen leckeren Linsensalat gezaubert. Farblich auf jeden Fall sehr passend zu meinem Mohn-Bild :)

I made a delicious lentil salad with brown mountain lentils and all kinds of fresh vegetables. In terms of colour, it definitely matches my poppy picture :)
