Wetterkapriolen / Weather caprioles

Hallo zusammen,
also heute hat das Wetter mal so richtig verrückt gespielt und alle Facetten gezeigt, die es so drauf hat. Der Tag begann frostig kalt um 0° Grad aber mit blauem Himmel und Sonnenschein.
Als ich nach der Arbeit unseren Sohn von der Schule abholte, verdunkelte sich plötzlich der Himmel und es kam ein starker Hagelschauer herunter. Dieser dauerte auch einige Minuten an und ging dann erst in Schnee und dann in Regen über. Gut, dass ich einen Regenschirm dabei hatte, der mich ein wenig vor den Wetterkapriolen schützte.

so today the weather has played so really crazy and showed all facets that it has so on it. The day began frosty cold around 0 ° degrees but with blue skies and sunshine.
When I picked up our son from school after work, the sky suddenly darkened and a strong hailstorm came down. This also lasted for a few minutes and then turned to snow and then rain. Good thing I had an umbrella with me, which protected me a little from the weather capers.

Als unser Sohn dann aus der Schule kam war das ganze Schauspiel schon wieder vorbei und der Himmel zeigte erneut ein paar blaue Felder. Das Ganze wiederholte sich an diesem Tag noch mehrmals und die anfänglichen Frühlingsgefühle wichen alsbald. Wieder die dicke Winterjacke, Handschuhe und kalte Füße...nein, dass fühlt sich so gar nicht nach Frühling an.
Ein paar Frühlingshaft anmutende Fotos konnte ich dennoch machen ;)

When our son came out of school, the whole spectacle was already over and the sky showed a few blue fields again. The whole thing was repeated several times that day and the initial spring feelings soon gave way. Again the thick winter jacket, gloves and cold feet...no, that doesn't feel like spring at all.

Gekocht habe ich heute einen Kartoffel-Gemüse Auflauf mit...wie könnte es anders sein: Kartoffeln und dazu noch Zwiebeln, Tomaten, Brokkoli und Möhren. Ein sehr schmackhaftes Gericht.
Für unseren Sohn gab es noch Fischstäbchen dazu, da ich ihn für reine Gemüsegerichte bisher noch nicht begeistern konnte. Aber was nicht ist kann ja noch werden. Am Ball bleiben heißt die Devise ;)

Today I cooked a potato and vegetable casserole with...how could it be otherwise: potatoes and onions, tomatoes, broccoli and carrots. A very tasty dish.
For our son there were still fish sticks in addition, since I could not inspire him for pure vegetable dishes so far. But what is not can still become. Stay on the ball is the motto - is this really the right translation or what would you say to it? Please tell me.

Nach der Arbeit, dem Kochen und den Hausaufgaben ging es dann mal wieder zum Taekwondo Training unseres Sohnes. Er trainiert gerade ganz eifrig an einer Übung, die er für die nächste Gürtelprüfung können muss, einen sogenannten "TUL". Es ist toll zu beobachten, wie ihn der Ehrgeiz gepackt hat.
Übrigens scheint mir jetzt gerade um 19:00 Uhr von hinten die Sonne auf den PC-Bildschirm und blendet dermaßen, dass ich kaum noch etwas erkennen kann. Eine Ironie des Wetters, oder?

After work, cooking and homework, we went to our son's Taekwondo training again. He is currently training very diligently on an exercise that he must be able to do for the next belt exam, a so-called "TUL". It's great to see how the ambition has taken hold of him.
By the way, right now at 7:00 p.m. the sun is shining on my PC screen from behind and is blinding me so much that I can hardly see anything. An irony of the weather, isn't it?
