When Artificial Beauty Looks Just as Real
Hey Everyone šš»
Today being Sunday, I decided to visit the complex mall for some shopping. Since I wasnāt in a hurry, I took my time and explored different storesāstarting from food supermarkets to home furnishing sections and even electronics. It felt nice to walk around without any fixed plan, just observing things at my own pace.
While roaming around, I came across a branded store that was selling aesthetic dĆ©cor items. From simple wall paintings to small metal-crafted statues, everything in that store was designed to attract your eyes instantly. Each item had its own charm, but one particular section caught my attention more than anything elseāthe artificial flower display.

Honestly, at first glance, it was really hard to believe that those flowers were not real. The detailing, the color shades, the texture of the petalsāeverything looked so natural that you had to touch them to be sure. The flowers were arranged beautifully in vases, giving the whole corner a fresh and lively vibe. I felt an instant urge to buy a few pieces and decorate my home with them.
But as it usually happens with branded stores, beauty comes with a heavy price tag. No matter how small the item was, the cost was quite high. So instead of buying them, I chose to admire them a little longer and clicked some pictures to keep the memory. Sometimes appreciation itself feels enough.
Being a planter, I have experience with both natural and artificial flowers, and I strongly feel that both come with their own pros and cons. Natural flowers definitely bring a different kind of charm to your home. Their fragrance, freshness, and the life they add to a space cannot truly be replaced. There is something very calming about waking up to blooming plants around you. However, they also demand a lot of careāproper watering, sunlight, suitable temperature, and the right environment.
I personally tried growing many indoor plants that looked beautiful in pictures and stores, but sadly, most of them didnāt survive. Either the lighting was not suitable or the watering went wrong. Despite multiple attempts, I couldnāt maintain them the way they needed to be.
On the other hand, artificial flowers may not give you the natural fragrance or that living touch, but they surely make your house look beautiful without any effort. There is no stress of watering, no fear of drying leaves, and no worry about sunlight. They remain the same throughout the year, looking fresh and colorful every single day.
These days, artificial flowers have reached another level altogether. The finishing and detailing are so perfect that you can barely differentiate them from real ones unless you observe closely. For indoor dƩcor especially, they have become a very practical choice.

So I feel if you have good knowledge about plants and can give them the environment they need, natural plants are always the best option. But for people like me, who love greenery but struggle with plant care, artificial flowers are a great alternativeāat least for indoor spaces.
In the end, itās not about real or artificial, itās about what suits your lifestyle and brings you happiness when you look at it. And today, those artificial flowers surely managed to do that for me.

Yeah you are right, they are costly.
Plant nurseries are easily available here but every time when the plant dries, it's painful and lost of money.
